    Not really directed at you, but I get the sense people are really gripping hard this year, almost like these games are extension of the postseason and they are all huge. Or nah? Maybe, but game threads are always stupidly reactionary/emotional. I like when good things happen to the Cubs and not when bad things happen to them

    Hilarious how committed Gameday is to Jackie Robinson day. Every play is #42 pitches to #42 who hits a fly ball to #42.

    jesus christ what a mess stop TOOTBLANing. I heard an interview with Maddon where he's encouraging aggressive moves on the basepaths and, like, he's smarter than that, and I know he's more complicated than that. But just, don't do it.

    Bonds being blacklisted out of the league (in an act of likely illegal collusion by the owners) really made us all lose out on the chance on seeing a 45 year old OBP .450 and embarrass everyone else. I would have taken him on any team, even if only as a part time pinch hitter, DH role

    Hazelbaker has all the makings of the typical Cardinals extremely annoying high intensity white guy who OPS' .850 and then sucks anywhere else

    I don't want to hash out the entire debate again but its like stupidly obvious how good a job Theo and co. have made at this point.

    I was almost looking forward to Rondon in a (as much as this team is capable of) dramatic save situation. This offense just wont allow it. I like that they're giving Heyward and Rizzo a chance to redeem themselves.
