Watching clips again and the most encouraging thing is that the Heyward home run didn't look particularly well hit off the bat. I remember seeing him pull pitches on the other side of the plate and that kind of swing last year resulted in a 250 foot lazy flyball - now it went over the fence.
Its April 24th and Jason Heyward got his 3rd home run of the season. He didn't get his 3rd home run until June 6th last year. (He didn't hit his first until May 17th)
All of these weird rules they keep trying to put in to increase pace of play are inferior and more drastic than just instituting and enforcing a pitch clock. Some may feel thats a more fundamental change than the others, but I would welcome it.
Yeah I thought Adam Warren was gonna be a nice little player for us, maybe even start, but boy did he suck. And checking the numbers now he's given NYY 40 inning of excellent baseball since going back. Guess he just likes New York.
hahahaha the Cubs won this game??? Thats amazing. Team already has more exciting comebacks than the 2016 Cubs did in the first half of the year. Stealing the heart away from your rivals is pretty fun.
this looks really impressive but getting swept in the one loss makes that W/L not as impressive its cool though and they're gonna run the table on the entire national league
