    I was on vacation most of last week but I did get to check the score every day and see the Cubs just lose a bazillion games to the Rockies. This team is totally schizophrenic and punishes you if you follow too closely

    That must have been so good for Kyle, you could tell how happy he was when he got to home. I know these things don't exist, but I hope that's a "turning point" moment for him and the team. (They don't exist because the last home stand felt like that anyway)

    all those numbers that UMFan posted about how the Cubs have had the most at-bats with runners in scoring position and have had historically poor numbers in those situations gives me more hope and confidence than less. Getting people on base is a repeatable, consistent stat, hitting with runners in scoring position isn't.
