  1. At least we got two men on. Pat Hughes said De Rosa was starting at 2nd. What happened to theriot?
  2. I'm pumped for this game. Please erase bad memories from Monday. (Plus I get to watch this game, while I was in class on Monday). GO CUBBIES!!
  3. Crap. MIL up 4-3. Mench with a 2-run homer
  4. Floridas pounding Washington for 2nd day in row.
  5. BASES LOADED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  6. As for the other important games, MIL is losing to LAD 3-2 in bottom 6. Houstons beating Pitt 2-1 in middle of 7.
  7. I've come to expect Opening Day losses. And I wasn't being force fed the Cub loss on every sports channel around either. Everywhere I turn it's how wonderful Florida is. Screw the Gators. =D> Couldn't have said it better myself. You may not like them, but you have to admit that they deserved it.
  8. Well, in fairness-he's a fan of their rival. It's a lot easier to shake off one baseball loss than to hear your rival talk all the next year about their 3 titles in just over a year. Oh. I thought he was talking about the Marlins. Me too.
  9. Except, without Butler, Washington isn't likely to get the 4 seed anyway. We're Cubs fans. We're used to dreaming.
  10. I liked them a lot.
  11. What a bad game all around. Lone bright spot is Cotts, Weurtz, Ohman didn't give up runs.
  12. Thank god Cleveland lost on Sunday. Only 1/2 game back! I think we need the two seed because of the discrepancy between our home record and our away record.
  13. That Reds fan yesterday was right...Dunn is killing us.
  14. After the 1st good. How many pitches? 34 That's a lot.
  15. It's a bit early in the season to be so cynical. The same old cubs dominated on opening day. There's time. It's only inning 3.
  16. We've dominated every Opening Day game since 2004. Let's make it 4 in a row.
