IMO he really isn't. His game is very technically sound...even ARod is taking parts of his game. If hitting .300 every year with around 30 homers and 100+ RBI is over-rated, I'll gladly take him off of the Mets' hands. Oh I don't think he's overrated at all. I think my friend is out of his mind with that statement but I don't argue about it with him anymore, he's believed it for awhile. Let me guess, your friend is a Cards fan who thinks that Rolen is the best 3B in the game? Yadier's the best hitter.

I think we have the offensive talent to win the division. I think the rotation behind Z, has the potential for a meltdown. If Marquis doesn't improve, Hill cannot produce the end of last season for a whole year, and prior doesn't return to form, we could have a very mediocre rotation. It also has the potential to be fantastic however. I voted 2nd. -

I'm pretty sure it's been established that Guzman, not Cherry, will be on the 25-man when camp breaks, unless there's some news that I am not privy to. Also, it has been established that Weurtz is going to make the team. The 25th spot is between the 2 angels (Pagan and Guzman) -
With the 5th starter decided and the bench decided (Cedeno, Theriot, Ward, Floyd/Murton, Blanco) all that is left is the bullpen. I know Eyre, Howry, Dempster, Cotts, and Ohman will make it. Has there been any indication about the other 2 spots?
