    Probably because you can only do that with 2 west coast teams and nobody really watches it anyway. There are five West Coast teams, not two. That being said, you're right because that's still not enough teams to host a 7 p.m. PT Monday Night game every week. Each team would have three MNF games with two of the five having four. A game with 5 west coast teams would be kinda weird. And crowded.

    Don Banks has the Bears losing to the Pack in the divisional series, with the Pack losing to the Pats in the SB.     Woo Boise State! Seems like every year there's another mid-major team that manages to get more attention than Boise State...but consistently every year they come out and take care of business. Eventually they need to get out of the WAC though.

    why can't bowman just stay healthy? He is right now and hopefully he stays that way, but there's still Peanut's situation to worry about. And Rod Hood didn't exactly impress.

    Vasher played better against the Broncos though, and they have some good receivers, though obviously not nearly the QB. As long as we can avoid getting burned by the big pass, I like our chances.

    It was a great article and very informative - and I'm not even a Bears fan. It actually reminded me of a show on ESPN that I used to watch all the time called - I think - "NFL Playbook" or something like that. It was a 30-minute show with, usually, Merrill Hodge and Ron Jaworski breaking down different plays from games as a means of previewing upcoming games (for instance, if the Bears played the Titans, they'd break down how Cutler might attack the Tennessee secondary based on how the teams had run plays previously). It might've been the best show on ESPN, but it was on at like midnight or 1 a.m. I haven't seen it in some time, though. NFL Matchup? That might be it. It had Hodge, Jaworski and Suzy Kolber (I think) hosting it. Yeah...it's NFL Matchup. If you wanna stay up till all hours of the night it's still on sometimes...or at least it was last year I think.

    I'm ok with letting Davis go, but all reports are that he's probably safe because of ST. He had a pretty good ST performance against Denver.

    Not sure why Hendry would be doing interviews right now anyway. And if he does, why he'd expect softballs.

    Oh I absolutely did. I'd love to see more of that as the season goes on. The mainstream may not want to see all the X's and O's, but I think it's fascinating. There's so much that goes into the game that you don't see on TV each Sunday.

    Problem there is that Knox could actually be useful as a returner, and Iglesias I don't think would pass through waivers.

    I think more highly of Petersen than you do. I don't think he's an all-pro by any stretch, but I think he's quicker than Jones right now, and has been in this system for quite some time with some bad QB's and o-lines. With both of those significantly better, I think he could do pretty well. I think he's a whole lot better than Wolfe.
