    I think basically you can fill out a form and have the police do the dirty work of taking the person into custody. I don't know the full details. But it doesn't sound like the police are too convinced if they haven't filed charges.

    It was a citizens arrest by Tila. The police haven't filed charges.

    I'm definitely going to be much more interested in Vikings-Packers games from a pure football perspective (rather than just it's impact on the standings) than I usually am.

    Hunter is a special teams guy? For some reason I'm drawing a blank on picturing him out there. I think he's here because he'd be a $4.65m cap hit if cut this year. He's signed through 2011, so I think next year is the first year he won't cost more as a cut than as an active player. So he's no great ST guy, so you may well be right...salary could be a bigger factor.

    Hillenmeyer and Davis are both on the team due to special teams.

    It wasn't his sole concern, but I definitely think that ability was part of it. Ability ended up trumping his previous biases against Edmonds.

    I'm kinda pissed they didn't do this much earlier in the season if it was only 2 weeks he was gonna be out.

    His "job" (as so much as he has one in college) is to play football. Punching isn't part of the game. Taunting has been for a very, very long time.

    And I'm willing to bet the Boise guy was looking out for Blount too and probably didn't just happen to pass right by him after the game. Big deal! It's football. Blount had been saying for weeks that Oregon was going to whip BSU's ass. I'm sure that this guy said something like "Nice [expletive] ass whooping". I don't care if he said he banged Blount's momma last night though. It's just talk. Being a jerk doesn't merit suspensions. That's ridiculous.

    A lot of teams missed the boat on Rex. I understand why he couldn't stay in Chicago. There was just too much negativity surrounding him at this point, and the Cutler thing is a whole new era. Being a backup in Chicago would be too weird. But there are a lot of teams that could use him. *Waves at Denver*

    I was about to say that he was a little back in the mold of Garrett Wolfe...but he's not as small as I thought. He's about the same size as Forte.

    I think they have to sign a RB. They had to know about Jones before cutting Rideau, right? Peterson and Wolfe just can't cut it as backups. Forte needs to be able to sit more this year than he did last, or else he isn't going to make it through his rookie contract. Who's out there for backup running duties? Edgerrin got signed, right?

    Are they announcing them one at a time? I'm just cutting and pasting from a Bears forum. I honestly don't know the source. But Jason Davis did tweet that he'd gotten cut, so it seems legit.
