  1. I posted here, then went back out to see what they were doing during the half. I'm now back on here because I can't watch Jay Leno. The man is unfunny.
  2. Wow...reading through this thread though, you'd think we were losing by 30.
  3. Boy....D-line and secondary were the big concerns, and it's been just about everything else that has been a failure. It's a defensive showdown. Neither QB has done a thing (although Cutler has obviously done more negative than Rodgers). Definitely have plenty to work on after this one.
  4. Wooooo...Bulger took a shot!
  5. Did Julius Jones just do a Ric Flair move? I know it was some wrestler....
  6. 49ers are getting pressure with a 4 man rush allowing them to drop 7 guys back. Spencer is defending him for the most part and doing a very good job. Also the 49ers are able to drop Willis back into coverage which is a huge advantage for them. If they weren't getting pressure he would probably be on the line blitzing more. Thanks.
  7. You're probably the only person on this board actually enjoying this game. ;)
  8. I'm not able to see the SF-AZ game....how does Larry Fitzgerald only have 10 yds receiving at the half?
  9. Easy to do with 12 guys...haha.
  10. So you picked all the favorites. I picked the winners. 8 of them. "I would be ten for ten if all the favorites won, but two lost, so I am only eight for ten." Ok...not sure what point you're making. I picked the teams I thought would win...those happened to be the favorites during the early games. My only point was that the Bengals losing burned me a bit. If you wanna pick a fight today...you'll need to try somebody else.
  11. So you picked all the favorites. I picked the winners.
  12. Bears went 9-7 last year. They've upgraded the offense at 6 positions, QB, TE (though admittedly, Olsen isn't really "new"), WR (bennett) and 3 OL spots. That's a lot of new. I think our WR's are going to be a whole lot better than people think that they are. I don't think the D-line and the secondary are separate concerns. I think if the D-line is successful, that means pressure on the QB, and an easier time for the secondary. If they don't get that pass rush, then the secondary is going to be exposed as they have to keep up with receivers for longer. I think they're very, very much tied together. Bears 27 Packers 19
  13. Man...if the Bungles hadn't blown that game, I'd be 9/10 in my picks so far. Only missing on Tex-NYJ. I really wish I was watching the Redskins-Giants game instead of Seattle-STL. Ugh.
  14. I just noticed...quoting looks kinda weird....the "blahblah wrote:" part is indented a bit, and it makes it a bit confusing on who exactly wrote which quote. Especially when there's 4-5 quotes.
  15. After being able to see the new site with the domain name last night, the domain name now brings up the old site with the message about the new location.
  16. The bottomline is this....these are men. If they can't "cowboy up", "man up", or whatever cliche macho statement that can come up with then they don't deserve to win the game. I could live with the NFL changing the OT rules to that if team A scores then team B has one last possession to tie or win the game. But if they don't chose to change the rules, then so be it. That's possibly the worst argument ever. They should do away with the roughing the QB and roughing the kicker penalties too. And the horsecollar penalties. And crackback blocks. These guys should just man up.
  17. Not any more; although I'm sure it worked last night. Same here. It was working last night for me, but now it's back to the old site. I'm back to using the IP.
  18. Huh...I thought at one point I'd heard that was a fake account. Looks like it's verified now though.
  19. Yeah, I've kept it all day and it looks a lot better than when the day began. The submit button being so far down on the "post" screen is still kinda annoying.
  20. Eh....college basketball isn't the same as NBA....college baseball has different rules than MLB...etc. That's not really my problem with NFL OT. I just think there's a better way to do it than how it's currently done is all.
  21. Can't argue against purists. :)
  22. No, what I'm saying is all the whiny babies who cry about OT being unfair are completely ridiculous and they need to shut up. Nobody is being robbed of anything. It is fair. Everybody has the same chance, they had the same chance when they took the field that day (discounting HFA, weather conditions, health, etc) and they had the same change when regulation ended. If you lose in OT, too bad, you lost a football game. If you cry about losing in OT, you are an idiot. Yeah, that's a poor argument. It's fair because you say so. BS. Yes, everyone had a fair chance in regulation, and nobody was able to get it done. OT is essentially it's own game. And someone is getting an unfair advantage. And there's no reason that it has to be that way. If there's a better way to do it, why not do it? What are you opposed to here?
  23. I didn't have the new front page when I left work, but I have it at home.
  24. The default is the old style board. Read back in the thread on how to change the board style to "Nexus".
  25. At least eliminate field goals in OT. Make them go for the endzone.
