  1. It's saying the video is no longer available.
  2. Like I said earlier, mine is working, but I'm accessing the site directly from a bookmark.... www.northsidebaseball.com/forum
  3. A lot of bad run defenses? When both teams get 200+ rushing, one team has to lose.... That could be bs...I haven't looked at the numbers.
  4. UMFan, I just read the week 2 thread...since I was in STL for the Cubs-Cards game on Sunday night so I didn't get to follow the thread live. Your posts are just entertaining as hell. Highest of highs, lowest of lows. Heh. Making Lovie Smith's postgame press conference about a tough loss at the end of the 3rd quarter, and then saying your pessimism is getting better at some point in the 4th. Just great, great work, my friend.
  5. "We were the best team in the NFL this year" Haha, I promise this was most Cub fans last year when the Dodgers swept the Cubs last year. :D I'm glad this got a comment. :)
  6. Enjoy Cowboys fans.
  7. I'd start Cooley. I avoid anyone playing Tennessee/Pittsburgh/Baltimore like the plague. Baltimore didn't exactly shut down KC.
  8. In the CBS sports pick'em league I'm in they list how the country is voting and that game is 88-12 in favor of Pittsburgh right now. Not exactly a trendy upset. Yeah sorry. It's the same in a couple of my pickems too. I meant it was a trendy media upset pick. And it's based on a sample size of three, so it's a very researched opinion....:P
  9. Heh. Temporarily split the posts into the mod forum before merging it with the new thread. You probably tried to view the posts while they were in the mod forum.
  10. Jacksonville is the 13th largest city by population in the country. 40th if you go by "metro area population". Which makes it higher than both New Orleans and Buffalo. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Table_of_United_States_Metropolitan_Statistical_Areas
  11. At Hester's peak, it might have been a good idea to try some onside kicks instead of kicking out of bounds.
  12. I moved the "punt article" discussion to the NFL thread...I thought it deserved more than just a Bears fan audience.
  13. That's a really cool article. Something like that would extremely radical for the NFL though....akin to adding the pass to the game I think. It would change just about every conventional strategy.
  14. Bears are a trendy upset pick this week. Mike Greenberg, Peter King, and Mike Florio have all picked the Bears to win. Well, and yours truly. Bears 20, Steelers 17
  15. Urlacher suing memorabilia company that is trying to stiff him on the remainder of his contract with them. Basically they think he's done. http://www.nationalfootballpost.com/Biggs-Memorabilia-company-thinks-Urlacher-is-done.html
  16. Yeah...that's him. Got him off waivers from the Browns.
  17. ZachZaidman: Bears waive/injured Trumaine McBride. They claim CB DeAngelo Smith off waivers from Cleveland BradBiggs: Bears are seeking an injury settlement with Trumaine McBride, who is expected to be sidelined for four to six weeks.
  18. Between the Marlins and now the Jags, Florida needs to just have all their sports teams taken away from them.
  19. You guys have probably seen this, but I still think it's adorable. http://abclocal.go.com/wpvi/story?section=news/sports/pro/baseball&id=7017279
  20. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EEUedOIuxWo Joke? Weird joke to make to a struggling QB.
  21. Cutler with the power of positive thinking.... http://blogs.suntimes.com/bears/2009/09/jay_cutler_unplugged_the_qb_in.html#more I know you have to say it Jay, but the receivers did not do a great job.
  22. I just tried it. Works fine for me. What trouble are you having?
  23. Those deadlines are anything but....they'll extend it 48 hours if need be. And in a market like SD, the local fox/cbs station will buy out the remaining tickets if necessary probably. That game won't get blacked out.
  24. Apparently the Pats are looking at Derrick Brooks now.
  25. It was a brain fart at a huge moment in the game. It happens. It's really, really rare for our special teams to cost us a game. In fact, they've won more than their share the last several years. I'm willing to forgive that one. Our offensive woes are far more concerning than Mannelly's mistake.
