Yeah, my buddy is a big Redskins fan and is quite saddened by that turn. Gotta say one thing for Redskins fans. They have interesting offseasons. -
Well right. They used 2 TE's to help on the edges. But if you can get away with only Spaeth helping where Manumaleuna failed, you can get Olsen downfield a bit.

We still have Davis, right? So now the TE's are Spaeth, Davis and Olsen? Yep. I don't know a ton about him, but Looks like maybe Spaeth is more of a blocking TE for 2 TE sets?

I heard that Todd Heap guy is a FA. Not yet. Can't officially cut him yet. He's most likely gonna re-sign with the Ravens once they can officially cut him.

Forte is definitely gonna get some money. But outside of that, I think they're just playing it slow. Once players can really sign tomorrow, I bet the Bears start getting some guys in here.

Biggs says that if they are able to move Olsen, then the Bears might get in on a WR. Apparently the Bears have made contact regarding Malcolm Floyd, but he said that doesn't mean that money has been discussed. Olsen wants more money. I think this is the last year of his rookie deal, and he's only paid like $600k or something. Martz's offense is never going to showcase what Olsen can do as a receiving TE. My guess is that Olsen and his agent went to the Bears and asked for a trade. They gave permission to seek one for the right price, and then emails were sent. It doesn't seem like the Bears are desperate to trade him, but would if the right deal came along. Maybe that's an optimistic reading of the situation.
