  1. Apparently he's worked hard on his footwork this offseason. Hester is apparently running great routes, and there's a belief that he's really going to be a very good WR this year across from Roy. It's all about route running with Martz. There is no reason at all the Bears would be interested in trading Knox unless they got an offer to blow them away. Why would you trade cheap production? Err...other than Greg Olsen...but that was at least a 3rd round pick.
  2. Just stole that for my team name this year. Thanks. :)
  3. Anthony Adams is nursing some kind of ankle injury, and is in a walking boot. Adams swears it's a minor injury and looks worse than it is.
  4. Tweeted from Redskins.com:

  7. Evidently they are. Just announced they'll be calling Giants/Skins and Albert and Co. will get Bears/Falcons. Sam Rosen continues his Panthers beat reporting out in Arizona. They're doing NYG/Washington because it's the 10 year anniversary of 9/11.
  8. ESPN hires Bill Parcells. Warrick Dunn and Derrick Brooks will not be back with ESPN. (Honestly didn't realize they were there to begin with.)
  9. he won one tournament, a non-major. he won a tournament last year too. Which is more than Tiger can say. Yes, yes. I'm sure that Tiger is really super jealous of Adam Scott and his 14 major wins...er...wait.
  10. ESPN put out power rankings. They have the Bears 13th with this comment: Packers are #1.
  11. Oh, and this isn't the first time that Steve's been bitter at someone he previously caddied for.... http://sports.yahoo.com/golf/blog/devil_ball_golf/post/Tiger-s-caddy-is-pretty-mouthy-for-a-guy-who-car?urn=golf-129119
  12. ESPN hires Jerry Rice to be on NFL Live, Sportscenter and something called Audibles.
  13. A whole lot of people care. Tebow has a ridiculous number of people interested in his situation. You don't have to like it, but there's plenty of interest.
  14. There's plenty of other sports that fit this category though. Nascar, tennis, boxing... I agree with your first paragraph though.
  15. I hear ya. I just don't think Jerry knows how to do offense. I really don't. Cutler fell in his lap and he's been stumbling and fumbling to figure out how to take advantage ever since.
  16. I am way more annoyed than I should be that this quote refers to Kenny Albert, Daryl Johnston, and Tony Siragusa as a "pairing." albert and moose are a pairing, and then siragusa is so fat that he constitutes a pairing by himself. Siragusa is completely pointless. I don't know why they insist on putting him out there.
  17. Don't worry about that Jerry, you definitely don't have stars at every position. Or any position for that matter. Well now, Peppers and Hester (as a returner) are stars. And Urlacher and Briggs if you stretch the definition a touch. But yeah, pretty ridiculous statement on his part.
  18. A nice report on the Bears WR's. http://www.nationalfootballpost.com/Why-the-wide-receivers-stood-out-at-Bears-camp.html Some other camp notes from that article.
  19. I'm sure we'll see plenty of Knox, but I understand the Bears on this. There were multiple instances where Knox route running failure was directing responsible for interceptions.
  20. Well, that's cool and all. But one doesn't really have anything to do with the other.
  21. I nearly wrote almost a very, very similar post. Even the bit about thinking last year was gonna be a tough start. I'm thinking 9-10 wins this year, unless that O-line is better than we all think it'll be.
