    It's been 100 years. These prices seem cheap. Its been 63 years. No, we're winning it this year. We've never won a World Series in the history of Wrigley Field.

    That's probably because there won't be a need to sell DBacks playoff tickets this season.

    Has anyone looked at these yet? Just for grins, I checked games 4 and 5 of the World Series. Somebody is selling infield club box seats by 1st base 9 rows up for $35K EACH for game 5 and $55K EACH for game 4. People are asking $4K for bleachers and $2K for SRO. :blink:

    I'm drawing a blank on the name right now, but there was one player that had one HR for his entire career and that was off Steve Stone. Harry used to give him crap about that all the time. EDIT: Duane Kuiper was the player.

    Phil Rogers article in the Trib (posted within the last hour) surmises that the change of tomorrow's starter appears to set up the post-season rotation as Dempster, Harden, Z, and then Lilly.

    I think Dempster needs to start either game 1 or 2 at Wrigley.

    I will be in the bleachers for Game 5 of the World Series as Aramis Ramirez hits a walk off HR to clinch the first Cubs championship in 100 years.

    I'll be in the stands at the Texas A&M-Miami game, but you can bet I will be keeping an eye on my Blackberry all afternoon for Cub updates. Even though I'll be able to watch tomorrow, I'd rather we just clinch today with a win. I'm not confident that the Brewers can beat the Reds today.

    The Cubs were down 8-0 earlier this year against the Rockies. If memory serves, I think I sung "Go Cubs Go" at the end of that one.

    Not once in 7 pitches?!?! He's headed to the DL. Not saying he's hurt or anything, just that last Sunday was special and we shouldn't expect him to shut anyone down. That was really his only great start in a while. I hope it continues and he'll be fine, but let's not pretend he morphed into mr. unhittable for good. Did you really expect him to throw another no hitter? No, but we didn't expect this, that's for sure. A double play now and he only gives up 1 run. Or he could give up a grand slam. :blackeye:
