  1. Wow.
  2. Astros fans have a huge hatred for the Cubs and Cub fans.
  3. For those of us only following along on ESPN GameCast, who took Marquis' spot in the rotation today? :pig:

  5. You spelled MVP wrong. You spelled King of Kings wrong. You spelled God wrong.
  6. C'mon, Z! Just get us 2 more outs without giving up any runs.
  7. That was more of a fall after the ball hit his glove. A true dive and he possibly could have caught that one.
  8. When did Soto become a switch hitter? :-k
  9. Yeah, he really sucks. When are we going to DFA this loser?
  10. I think it's a great argument. No bad players could start the AS game, right Kosuke?
  11. wrong, you celebrate the playoff berth, as a division title doesn't mean much more. Care to wager which will be the bigger celebration? I agree that a playoff berth is a significantly more important milestone but tradition alone dictates that the division title will be the bigger celebration. i would wager that the playoff berth will be bigger. I'll take that bet. The champagne won't start flowing until they clinch the division.
  12. I would go with Z, but it sure is nice to be able to have this spirited of a debate on a topic like this. We have 3 big time pitchers that can be trusted to take the mound in a deciding game. And while I didn't post on here about it, I too must admit that I was way wrong about Dempster. I wasn't expecting much from him as a starter and he has sure proved us doubters wrong.
  13. First rule about no hitters is "Don't talk about no hitters."
  14. Lee was stealing 2nd, the catcher threw it to 2nd and Soriano broke for home as soon as the ball left the catcher's hand. That worked in a major league game?
  15. http://assets.espn.go.com/i/mlb/profiles/players/65x90/8074.jpg He's got caterpillars on his forehead!
  16. Nevermind. ESPN GameCast somehow missed Theriot's at bat.
  17. Was that a 12 pitch at bat for Soriano?
