  1. Hate to leave the bases loaded, but at least we tied it up.
  2. If the Cubs go to the WS, I'm skipping classes and work for a week no matter the consequences. If the Cubs go to the WS, I am skipping classes, taking off work and flying 1200 miles just to stand outside Wrigley so I can feel closer to it. Yep. If the WS is on the north side this year, I'll be standing out on Waveland for the games. Definitely. I'll basically camp down there for the series. I've already got the time off of work. Me and a buddy will be flying from Dallas.
  3. :yahoo: Still enjoying last night's win.
  4. Man, he is amazing. This whole team is so much fun to watch. NEVER SAY DIE!
  5. CUBS WIN! CUBS WIN! HOLY COW! CUBS WIN!
  6. Not going to win with at bats like that. :banghead:
  7. What has our road record been like lately? :-"
  8. Dreams is off of 5150 which was released in 1986.
  9. This was my second choice. My first? I Touch Myself... The Divinyls. Edit: Correction, that was 1991. Sorry, carry on. I hope you're joking. Or at least a chick.
  10. The Cubs and Phillies actually did play a 23-22 game on May 17, 1979, but the Phillies won it. http://www.baseball-almanac.com/box-scores/boxscore.php?boxid=197905170CHN THAT'S TOTALLY NEW INFORMATION TO ME. I'm actually not quite sure why I posted that. Me either. :D)
  11. Metallica - Creeping Death Although, that is not a bad song. It kicks major ass. Like the Cubs.

  13. What did we ever do to them? I'm still chalking this up to jealousy over the popularity of the team despite it's dismal success on the field. And perhaps to the (mostly) myth of the "social event"-Cub fan. They hate us because too many Cub fans go to games in their dump of a city. They hate the fact that someone from Texas could like a team that's not from Texas. They hate the fact that the Cubs get more attention. And so on.
  14. Wow.
  15. Astros fans have a huge hatred for the Cubs and Cub fans.
