  1. Me I wanted Girardi. #-o
  2. No, you are automatically re-registered, regardless of whether you won or not. the real question is CAN you register for the NLCS because if so, i will be registering a crapload of emails... what do i have to lose, my 1/50000000000 chance that i would've otherwise had? I just registered a new e-mail address a few minutes ago.
  3. So you can get hard tickets shipped to you? I hate the print at home option. I like to save tickets stubs from sporting events and concerts.
  4. It's been 100 years. These prices seem cheap. Its been 63 years. No, we're winning it this year. We've never won a World Series in the history of Wrigley Field.
  5. That's probably because there won't be a need to sell DBacks playoff tickets this season.
  6. Has anyone looked at these yet? Just for grins, I checked games 4 and 5 of the World Series. Somebody is selling infield club box seats by 1st base 9 rows up for $35K EACH for game 5 and $55K EACH for game 4. People are asking $4K for bleachers and $2K for SRO.
  7. I'm drawing a blank on the name right now, but there was one player that had one HR for his entire career and that was off Steve Stone. Harry used to give him crap about that all the time. EDIT: Duane Kuiper was the player.
  8. When would you ever want to be around Mets fans?
  9. Phil Rogers article in the Trib (posted within the last hour) surmises that the change of tomorrow's starter appears to set up the post-season rotation as Dempster, Harden, Z, and then Lilly.
  10. So you're saying there's a chance?
  11. I think Dempster needs to start either game 1 or 2 at Wrigley.
  12. I will be in the bleachers for Game 5 of the World Series as Aramis Ramirez hits a walk off HR to clinch the first Cubs championship in 100 years.
  13. Hey Len, thanks for dropping by. You do a great job in the booth. Now that I've kissed your butt, can you hook me up with some World Series tickets? Bleacher seats would be perfect. Thanks in advance.
  14. Marquis is our #5 starter. The big sign outside is a marquee.
  15. I'll be in the stands at the Texas A&M-Miami game, but you can bet I will be keeping an eye on my Blackberry all afternoon for Cub updates. Even though I'll be able to watch tomorrow, I'd rather we just clinch today with a win. I'm not confident that the Brewers can beat the Reds today.
  16. I'll actually be in the stands for the Texas A&M-Miami game, but I will be keeping a close eye on my Blackberry for Cub updates.
  17. I call the role of drunken Cub fan.
  18. Well, so long folks. Have a great evening!
  19. Day to day, I don't think it's anything serious. Just a bit of a hand soreness, if I recall correctly. joint irritation
  20. The Cubs were down 8-0 earlier this year against the Rockies. If memory serves, I think I sung "Go Cubs Go" at the end of that one.
  21. Good Z was left behind at Wrigley North. Bad Z took the mound today.
  22. I bet Big Z goes yard today and has at least 2 or 3 RBI's.
