  1. Not play him much until he stops sucking like a crack whore.
  2. Thank you Dusty & Co.
  3. Are the Rangers on the road next weekend? They could move the games up here. :)
  4. How many of you defending Cedeno do the same for Alex Gonalzez in Game 6 of the 2003 NLCS?
  5. Send a DVD to the league to change that to an error. [/Ned Yost]
  6. We're down 1-0 going to the 3rd. This game's obviously over.
  7. Yeah, why were they driving? And on game day on top of it. They did have an off day in there.
  8. He is probably having some bad memories of another September meltdown. :(
  9. I'm in Texas, so it's not easy for me to get Cubs news here. I make a habit of checking certain sites for news every day and you can't help but see the headlines. Or someone posts about it on here. It's like I seek this stuff out.
  10. Or does it seem like the Chicago sportswriters have been waiting for any reason whatsoever to start writing all this negative crap about the team? It's really starting to piss me off.
  11. Theriot deserved to be ripped for that crap. You can't waste that much time with a rag arm and a fast runner.
  12. No '69 type collapse is coming. We might not win the division, but it would be damn near impossible not to at least win the Wild Card.
  13. Still optimistic at this point. Ask me again in a week.
  14. I think it has to do more with playoff roster spots.
  15. I bet even Santo doesn't hate the Mets today. :good:
  16.
  17. How did Lee look silly tonight? He was 2-5 with a walk and the double play was just bad luck. He hammered that ball. He should have been trying to get it in the air, but still, it's not like he reached out and guided it weakly to the shortstop like he usually does. Oh, and they scored 4 runs after Zambrano left the game. The thing is that Lee has been hitting ground balls at people for a long time already. His inability to drive the ball on a consistent basis is a reason for his movement out of the 3 hole. That spot in the lineup, as shown yesterday is one where you are expected to drive the ball or hit it in the air at times and with his inability to do so anymore, Lee should not be moved somewhere else in the lineup. He simply is not the run producer that he once was. Derosa and Soto have driven in more runs from spots in the lineup that are less conducive to collecting RBI. Part of the reason for Aramis' tear this year has been Lee missing out on RBI as well. Agree. And that was not a good pitch that he swung at. There was a struggling pitcher on the mound and the count was 2-1, IIRC. The pitch was way inside. He should be looking for a pitch he can put in the air to bring in the go ahead run. Terrible at bat and this is happening way too often with DLee this season. I don't want him benched, just moved down in the order.
  18. DAMNIT! Should have won this one. I hate the [expletive] Astros. :banghead:
  19. The Mets have tied it up.
  20. Is this some sort of reverse psychology? I'm trying. Try harder next time.
  21. Is this some sort of reverse psychology?
  22. He's batting 1.000 with the pants rolled down this year. How can you boo that? IIRC he didn't go with the high socks until the birth of his child. He's batting 1.000 since the birth of his child with the pants rolled down this year. How can you boo that?
