    I can't believe Hendry actually thought Edmonds would be worth a damn. Did you see how bad he was in SD at the start of the year? Sheesh!

    I think Konerko's on his way out. I don't know. He still has $24 million left on his contract over the next 2 years. White Sox would have to pick up quite a bit of that to get him traded. And the fans love the guy. The Sox fans I know are more than ready for Konerko to go bye-bye.

    Did anyone watch Baseball Tonight right before the game? They kept talking about the Cubs going for the sweep, the Brewers trying to avoid the sweep tonight, etc when hyping the game. The even had it on the onscreen graphics. I wonder if anyone there has a clue that this is a 4 game series.

    Shark hasn't looked comfortable out there????? If Lou doesn't trust Eyre with a 10 run lead, then he shouldn't be on the roster. The move didn't have much significance in last night's game, but if Shark can't pitch in game 3 it most certainly could be significant in that game. Look, you start Eyre or Cotts in the 9th. If they give up 2 or 3 runs THEN you bring in Shark to close it out. And I don't think Lou is going to lose any sleep over me questioning his bullpen move on the Internet.

    Relax... For the sake of turning this to real conversation, why do you (I'm guessing) disapprove of Shark being used here? This should be asked in the post-game thread. Or the game thread. Or the Samardzija thread. Or the what the hell are you doing, Lou thread. But not here.

    I'm just trying to start a discussion about Lou's bullpen use and I get people crying because I didn't post this in the game thread or the Smardzija thread or label this properly as the official post game thread. Sorry for attempting to talk baseball here. You people keep berating people for not posting 100% up to your standards. :good:
