  1. This is just as laughable. They are loyal to their network, that's about it. If the Pac-12 had said OK to the LHN then there wouldn't be any more Big 12. Too rich. You screw over half the Southwest conference, and now leave the Big 12 to die, and have the gall to cast stones at Texas. You're trying too hard.
  2. They're stopping everything? That's funny. So bitter Bitter about ending up in a much better, infinitely more stable conference?

  5. Shabazz is going to shock the world and choose A&M.
  6. That list is absurd. Missouri blows Texas Tech out of the water, academically. As does KU. Quite honestly I was surprised to see any school listed lower than Texas Tech, so I'm cool with Mizzou being higher than them.
  7. I'm not really concerned with another school's academics unless it gives them a recruiting advantage.
  8. I guess I usually see Top 25 PUBLIC schools lists. Missouri barely cracks the Top 100 public schools list from what I found, well below Texas Tech and they are a Tier 3 school. http://www.forbes.com/2009/08/06/best-public-colleges-opinions-colleges-09-top.html
  9. http://missouri.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=1267857 Officially getting my hopes up. Bc you want to be in the SEC or bc any seat is better than none? I figure Missouri ends up in the bigx. Big Ten would be my first choice but I don't know how realistic it is right now. If SEC comes at us with an offer now, I would hope we'd take it instead of waiting around for a Big Ten offer that might not come. I'd welcome Texas A&M and Missouri to the SEC. Both are top 100 schools academically and are solid in all facets. Top 100 is kind of large group. Where is Missouri at? I know we're in most top 20/25 lists I see. I don't follow this all that closely, though.
  10. Was hoping for a 7pm kickoff on ABC, but I guess a top 10 match-up isn't good enough for that. Oh well, 2:30pm is cool too.
  11. How many of them were scored by "friends" of Nevin Shapiro?
  12. Already planning a trip home for the Red Sox series. :good:
  13. And again, we said OK to them having the network. It's what they have decided to do with it (which is NOT what was agreed to) that has caused issues and made us look to the SEC. I'm not sure how many more times I can point this out.
  14. Not exactly accurate. Texas wanted a 70/30 split and control of the network.
  15. well that's certainly a bad article. Excellent critique, sir. it was basically an article written to get attention by trolling the longhorns, since he assumed that texas haters would love it and texas supporters would hate it. obviously the writer's plan worked to perfection in your case. Obviously any Aggie is going to get a chuckle reading something like that, but it's not like I'm throwing it out there as the gospel truth. I find it hard to believe that Texas would have to beg any conference for admission. As much as I dislike them, it's clear that they bring a lot of positives to whatever conference they are in. They do bring some negatives too, but those would be limited in a powerful conference like the SEC, B1G, and possibly PAC-12.

  17. What in God's name made you think you could buy an airplane ticket the week of your flight for $100? I assume he meant a game ticket for $100.
  18. Texas begging the ACC for acceptance? http://aol.sportingnews.com/ncaa-football/story/2011-09-14/texas-drove-everyone-away-now-begging-for-acc-acceptance
  19. I'll bet they accept ATM. i laughed. Me too.
  20. Is anyone else going to be in New Orleans this weekend?
  21. I thought they were going to do away with the Leaders/Legends crap.
  22. The concession workers must be lazy Central Americans like Aramis Ramirez and other lazy Central Americans on the Cubs.
  23. I'm worried about the mighty Idaho Potatoes (that sounds better than Vandals to me). I hope we can sneak out a victory at home.
  24. Wow. Completed shocked by the Bears performance yesterday. They were damn good. Please win next weekend. I will be in New Orleans hammered off my ass.
