The conference is too strong? LOL. What are you basing your "analysis" of A&M on? We had a pretty good team last year and by all accounts should be even better this year. Tech and Baylor will be average at best. OSU is overrated and lost their OC. Texas was 5-7 last year and still has a lot of question marks. Mizzou will be tough, but we get them at home. Because aTm was a 4 loss team last year. Most people like to write off 3 of those losses because of the QB change, but for one, Johnson wasn't leading them into the abyss, and two, Johnson had little to do with the defense giving up almost 5 TDs/game in their losses. This isn't to say that they won't be good, but they're a team that should be expected to be a Top ~20ish type team who has to play 5 games against teams of that caliber. Sure they could win 3 of those and not slip up elsewhere(which would be needed to live up to their preseason hype, if not win 4), but it's not all that likely. Johnson turned the ball over a lot. His numbers looked good, but if you don't think there was a big difference in the offense from JJ to Tannehill, you obviously weren't watching. Also, last year was the first year under new DC Tim DeRuyter. The defense played much better at the end of the season. Just ask Nebraska and OU. We were thin at LB and took a huge injury there early in the Cotton Bowl against LSU. That didn't cause us to lose, but I think it really hurt any chance we had at keeping it close. This is a 10-win team.
