  1. Please be true. I know it's probably the right move to give up a player like Jackson for Theo, but it just doesn't seem right to me to trade a player for a front office guy.
  2. LOL. This is just a little better than the Konerko as player/GM tweet.
  3. So will KU just forfeit this weekend? Honestly. They probably just should. I can't imagine what the final score will be. Probably similar to this. http://www.dominick.ws/photos/Fran%2077-0.jpg I could see OU put up 100, even with taking out the starters in the 2nd half. They could have put up 100 that day, but Stoops called off the dogs in the 4th. God, I hate Dennis Franchione.
  4. This. I'm very excited about Theo possibly (probably?) coming to save the Cubs, but the inner pessimist in me is worried that we will do something stupid just to get him.
  5. Jay was amazing tonight. Too bad he doesn't have anything other than Matt Forte around him.
  6. If you're not outright saying it, you're certainly implying that SEC schools are loading up on BCS schools while most Big Ten teams play nothing but schools like Buffalo, New Mexico State, and Texas A&M YAY! My day is complete. SSR has taken his daily shot at A&M. I wonder when we need to start paying rent for the space we occupy in his head.
  7. Which SEC schools? Vandy? Ole Miss? Mississippi State? Kentucky?
  8. Alabama beat Penn State Arkansas beat A&M Auburn lost to Clemson Florida will play Florida State Georgia lost to Boise State and will play Georgia Tech LSU beat Oregon There are some quality non-conference games in there.
  9. I hope we can hit RGIII like we did Tyler Wilson & Seth Doege the last two weeks. They were tough enough to keep playing, but I'm not sure Griffin will be.
  10. Nice win, but I wish they would have played more like this last night when I was at the damn game.
  11. It wasn't pretty, but the Aggies hold on to win in Lubbock. So glad we never have to go there again. http://espn.go.com/dallas/ncf/story/_/id/7077711/texas-aggies-buses-vandalized-manure-texas-tech-red-raiders-logos
  12. Looked slow out there tonight. Lehtonen was outstanding as was the Stars D. Lots of Hawks fans at the AAC. Tons of empty seats, too. There was some jackass in our suite from Melrose Park who was a Stars fan. Could have done without him.
  13. Ya gotta stay off the ice, brah.
  14. It was a dislocated elbow. Jenn Brown tweeted that James popped his elbow back in by himself. I saw a clip of him on SportsCenter this morning at the postgame press conference. That's one tough SOB.
  15. Castro for Epstein? Did Rosenbloom actually waste time writing this as a possible scenarios? http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/rosenblog/chi-sizing-up-a-castroeptein-trade-20111006,0,1537224.column
  16. Just picked up some suite tickets for the season opener tomorrow night in Dallas. Cannot wait!
  17. More than Texas State did too. No one beats an unfunny joke into the ground more than you guys here. You should be proud of yourselves.
  18. Tulane offers more to the Bevo Conference than TCU does.
  19. To where? They don't have an invite to the B1G or SEC yet.
  20. Better late than never, I guess.
  21. Because her face looks like it was hit with multiple hockey pucks?
  22. The mouth breathers in charge of t-shirt design at Texas Tech might want to go watch "Tombstone" again. http://campusdesign.com/images/products/detail/BOBack.jpg
  23. Has Baylor threatened to sue Missouri yet?
  24. I'm sure you are correct, but I think the emotional reaction is completely understandable. They knew and really cared about him. Agreed. And, at least as far as I know, all the negative stuff is new information. Jordan's skeletons have already been revealed, so he at least has some chance to address them if he wants to. While some details may be new information, it wouldn't seem as much as a cheap expose like the Payton book seems to some people. I'm not saying that the book shouldn't have been written or that the writer is evil, but I certainly understand why Walter's friends are reacting the way they are. I probably won't ever read the book. I realize that he was human and has his skeletons like every other person. I just don't want to read about them.
  25. DO THESE MONSTERS KNOW NO SHAME?!? So the publishers are hyping this book as the best ever? Shocking.
