I don't disagree with you at all. I said when I first posted the gif that the official blew the call. I was just referring to the ridiculous display put on by the coach there. It's not like it was the end of the Wisconsin-Michigan State game and every second mattered.

I agree, but it was a ridiculous overreaction. We could have easily used one of our 3 remaining timeouts to stop the clock and there was 1:20 still remaining in the first half. But for the record, I enjoyed watching it.

I once saw a Royals-White Sox DH at Comiskey where Bud Black & Vida Blue were the starting pitchers for KC. My friend's parents got us into a suite, so I saw probably 4 innings the whole day. We were too busy runnign around and ordering food from the wait staff.

I agree that the ball hit his toe, but it wasn't overly obvious IMO. An easy solution to that is to have a little extra shoe polish on your cleats. When they look at the ball the umpires will see a blue mark where the ball hit the shoe and they will call it foul.
