    Still, how is anyone supposed to defend their stance when you aren't specifying who you're talking to? It's not just you, but it's a pet peeve. Below is the post that caused me to comment. Sure it was the only one on this thread (still a new story) but I have seen similar type comments a lot over the time I've spent here. I don't really see any of this on any other message boards I visit so it sticks out to me more here, I guess.

    The Sandberg hate around here just baffles me. I understand not wanting him to manage the Cubs, but damn the vitriol so many spew when his name is mentioned is crazy.

    WTF are the Texans doing? The Cowboys Jumbotron is already ridiculously large and their new one will dwarf it. When you go to a game at Cowboys Stadium (now AT&T Stadium, I guess) you end up watching on the Jumbotron because it is too distracting. It's an amazing piece of technology but it detracts from the game.

    Dallas is definitely a football town even though their fans are pretty clueless when it comes to the sport. It's quite shocking considering how huge football is in this state. I was at a Buffalo Wild Wings last Friday night for a FF draft when they turned the sound off on the first place Texas Rangers game in favor of the Cowboys pre-season game and no one seemed the least bit upset about it.

    Some are dumb. Some are arrogant. Some are dumb and arrogant. But they all love money and you can never have too much of that.

    I'm sure a lot of us do feel that way about our schools. The difference is, had Manziel done all of the above while at Iowa for example, I'd probably be saying something like "what a dumbass" rather than trying to legitimize the dumb [expletive] he did. Every university has their skeletons, and a whole lot of athletes do a whole lot of really stupid stuff. There's way too much smoke for there not to be a fire somewhere, and pretending otherwise is foolish. Go back and re-read my posts. I've ripped him for a lot of the dumb [expletive] he's done this offseason and I said in the last day or two that he's most likely guilty. Not even sure why I'm bothering to respond to you, but I actually have an Aggie Ring and a degree from Texas A&M. The Texas Southern grads are the ones with the burnt orange uterus on their chest.
