    probably veteran infatuation more than anything else if the cubs called up soto and gave him the job, kendall would have more time to focus on his veteran influence/leadership. as a backup, i bet he could really just influence the hell out of young geovanny. sounds like a plan, get on it jim.

    forgive me if this has been mentioned before, but has anyone seen Murton play RF in Iowa? Does he look more comfortable than he did in his few starts for the cubs?
