  1. I seriously want him nowhere near the playoff rotation. Z - Harden - Dempster. Repeat. Get Gaudin/Marshall in there. I'd be fine with that also, but I'm not sure Lou would be. I haven't searched the board today - Has Lou named Marshall the starter on Sunday? yes Len and Bob said he'd be going Saturday, with Dempster getting an extra day and going Sunday. Thanks guys. I'm stuck with braves announcers on mlb.tv
  2. Not at all. I'd just prefer (given healthy pitchers) to go with a 3 man playoff rotation and drop Lilly. He's a good #4 starter though.

  5. With a 5 run lead, I take him out now and let Marshall pitch the next 3 (unless Lou wants Marshall to start Sunday)
  6. 70 pitches through 4 for Campillo. I second your sentiment about getting to him early. I saw him pitch in Arizona last friday. Other than a leadoff homerun to Drew, he was pretty unhittable. Didn't he give up like 5 ER? Yeah, your right  . I think he only gave up a few hits through 5 and I could have sworn it was another brave in there when the wheels fell off. I was about 8 beers into by that point though, so my interest in the game faded.

  8. I was going to suggest cartwheeling down to first, but I guess this works too.
  9. Sori was hustling on that one!
  10. Well it is Rich Harden, and its not usually in his profile to go 2 2/3 innings without striking anyone out and then randomly walk the bases loaded. Eh. No K's through 3 isn't terribly surprising, he wasn't striking out nearly as many in the AL as he was in the NL this year. As for the walks, he's been a bit wild for most of the games I've watched him pitch with the cubs. It's just that he's good enough to work around hitter's counts.
  11. Why is it every time a cubs pitcher struggles (even sparingly) everybody assumes he's hurt?
  12. Braves announcers are still really bitter about the Soriano situation in game one. Pretty much just bad mouthing him and saying "the braves did what they had to do" etc. Although, I guess it's more interesting content than discussing the braves actual ballclub.
  13. Yeah, thats ridiculous. I've been to Atlanta a lot to watch the cubs, good teams and bad. There is always a huge cubs population in attendance.
  14. I love it when fans boo on inside breaking pitches.
  15. Nah. Just play the game. Don't need injuries or suspensions. If it's just Howry that would be alright.
  16. Howry will come in. I'm fine with this move.
  17. Braves pitcher ejected when he tried to take Soriano's head off with a fastball.
  18. This pic was really funny to me. Maybe it's because it's Chris Sabo and The King running through the rain.
  19. Gaudin has solidified our pen in Woods' absence, but I wouldn't mind seeing how he'd do either when Woody gets back.
  20. How would you expect an actual AAA team to do in the majors over 162? I'd expect they would win games every now and then, especially against teams' number 5's.
