  1. ? I'll give you that last play (although it was a hard hit ball and the OF got rid of it quickly), but what else? He's shown a lack of hustle a few times, but not any lack of fundamentals imo. He's missed several cutoff men, and I consider hustle a fundamental. Oh, OK. I guess I haven't paid much attention to him hitting his cutoff men, but I've never heard it brought up before. I consider lack of hustle a lack of effort, not fundamentals, but again that's just me.
  2. I've noticed this as well. He's hit a lot of balls to right field that seem like they are going to carry, but alas, fall about 20 feet in front of the track.

  4. Ask and I shall recieve, I guess.... "Threesome with Erin Andrews and Rachel Nichols....." :beg: Too late. Everybody gets one, and you used yours on the first inning of a Cubs-Pirates game in an already-decided division :) Hope it was worth it. Was that McClouth ball at the track or just before it? Pat made it sound kinda close I believe Edmonds was just on the track.
  5. Wow, Soriano on base all 5 times tonight!
  6. lol at Kendall's noodle arm making a comeback
  7. We all just witnessed reason # 32428567 why the hit and run sucks
  8. Hit and run with Kendall on the basepaths and a pitcher hitting? :-k
  9. Why should I believe that K Zone is right?
  10. nice job demp who would have thought they'd end up talking yanks/sox for the better part of a half inning?
  11. Ramirez had better win a gold glove this year
  12. Thanks guys. I started checking out FJM within the past few months fairly regularly, damn funny material. I'll keep a heads up for FTH next time. Oh, and since I didn't know what they meant earlier... woosh
  13. fun fact: Luiz Gonzalez was born in 1967 seriously though, Ward is so much better. This would be a horrible move. Also, contrary to popular belief among many of this board, Ward's been an above average hitter this year. Not as good as his past few seasons (especially last year), but still extremely solid for a bat off the bench.
  14. Be careful, it's pretty windy out on that limb. the Braves are 7.5 games back with 3 very good teams ahead of them. Hudsons done for the season, Chippers back to the DL, and now Tex is gone. I think its pretty safe to say they're done. I think he was being sarcastic. As in "way to go out on a limb" with that obvious statement. woosh what does woosh mean anyway? I've seen it posted from time to time, but with little context to help me figure out what the hell it is. And while we're at it, what does FTH mean? From what I've gathered, it's means like "what the hell", but what's the F for? Thanks in advance for your help in curing my internet illiteracy.
  15. Eh, pen still looks strong for tomorrow. You'll have Gaudin and Marmol for sure. If you need additional innings you could always bring Marshall in tomorrow and still have shark if Harden exits early Thursday. Not a terrible case either way. But to beat a dead horse, why even carry Eyre?
  16. While I agree that it should be Eyre or Howry, at least it isn't Marmol. This is Shark's road debut, maybe Lou just wants to bring him in a low hostility situation to give him some confidence? Again, if this inning means he can't go tomorrow, it's a really dumb move.
  17. It's basically the only thing being discussed. Has Eyre been on the verge of being traded for a week straight?
  18. Kosuke with a really nice game as well; lots of line drives. That's very encouraging.
  19. Well, there's a start. 3 doubles for Ramirez
