  1. He was hit in the first inning on the first pitch he saw. He was pretty pissed about that. Later, in the 9th, Chapman sails two pitches at Nate's head (one just in front, one over). He was probably just wild, but the Cubs dugout took offense. Rizzo was yelling from the top step at Chapman. Chapman stares down the dugout after a K and more yelling from Rizzo/Cubs. Chapman retires the side and dismissively waves his glove at the Cubs dugout. More of the same. Rizzo comes out to warm up for the bottom of the ninth. He spins around because someone obviously said something from the Reds dugout.

  3. Please send Olt (or Lake) to AAA and keep him up!
  4. Len: "#VoteRizzo...or suffer the consequences" Haha
  5. OMG. Rizzo just [expletive] punked the hell out of whoever was in that dugout talking [expletive]. Took a good 15 steps that way, threw his glove and hat off.
  6. Tanaka hurt his elbow as well if i heard correctly on the radio. Yeah, it's talked about in a couple threads on here.
  7. BEDTIME STORY'S! :banghead:
  8. You're one to talk, Mike. I just voted probably 50 times.
  9. Well at least he hit that ball hard. Side note: if thoe and co. don't call him back up after the AAA ASG they are real dicks Side note x 2: Rizzo!!! ETA: the hard hit ball ref was to Al Cont
  10. It's my most prized possession. I wear them to work (business casual so it's ok)
  11. Yeah, that is by far the best feeling I've felt all year reading down a Cubs lineup. Especially with the way the OF has been hitting lately. Cubs destroy Reds 13-4.
  12. I thought that had already been announced. What happened? never said it hadn't been guess it's tomorrow Yeah, I think it was always supposed to be Thursday.
  13. If you're going to strike out swinging, please at least pay attention when it's a ball in the dirt...
  14. He's slumping and hasn't figured out AAA pitching. Facing adversity, I'd say. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  15. They went with a 24-man roster yesterday. Parker just got called up this morning to fill in the other spot. Thanks. Any chance they pull Hendicks early today and have him go Thursday? (Sunday-Wednesday: Arrieta, Jackson, Wada, Wood) Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD Not on the 40-man. Though there is a spot open. Just saw Tuesday is a DH. That muddles things a little further because the Cubs can go with 26 that day. Guess we will see.

  17. By the way, I saw Wada is being called up but I think I missed the other corresponding move (or maybe it hasn't occurred yet). Can Beeler get recalled already? Or is Rusin the other move for the time being?
  18. I think they are professional baseball players and probably still feel like they can go out, compete, and win games. I'm anxious to see Wada and hoping Hendricks is up soon. No, they won't duplicate the success of Samardzija and Hammel (and I'm sure everyone knows that), but it doesn't mean they are now automatically insufferable. Samardzija hasn't been lighting the world on fire lately, either.
