God, yes. Forgot the associating feelings of the crowd's energy even through broadcast. It will be so nice to be good - or at least relevant - and playing important and meaningful games again.

Couldn't watch much of yesterday's game, but it seemed to me there was a legitimate "buzz" with the crowd in the ninth that I couldn't remember feeling in quite some time. Guess that's what winning will do, huh? But, I guess have just been me and my newfound optimism. Cubs win 5-2. Arrieta finally couples his plus stuff with actual efficiency. Castro and Rizzo both 2-4 with a double a piece. Valbuena hits a dong. The Goony train keeps rolling. Fun times. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD

Hill was (is?) a better hitter (which is saying something) and by all accounts a better defensive Catcher than Eli [expletive] whiteside. That's the point. For Christ's sake John Baker is our offensive catcher now! Why is he in the system? I don't see what he brings to this organization. There have to have been better options to stash away at AAA. Anyway, I caught bits and pieces of this game and as someone else said earlier - this is by FAR my favorite cubs team with a bad record in recent memory. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD

Whiteside has not impressed me at all with his receiving skills. He is quite obviously a horrific hitter. Plus, he fights with Baez. What is he doing on an MILB roster let alone a MLB team?
