You guys are [expletive] with what's been working. I'm discouraged. Regardless, I kind of hoped when (if ever) we lose we would switch from saved by the bell to Taco Bell theme. Because there are built-in puns and they would help self-justify my late night eating.
I remember it bugging me because his hot starts was so slugging-bloated (his OBP wasn't bad, but it was kinda meh given the expectations, then that improved, but his slugging fell off) . This year seems a lot more sexily well-rounded. This is contrary to your tiny-faced, irrational [expletive] you've been spewing about Rizzo. You've said yourself you don't know if it is that or the SBTB gifs to credit. I'm almost positive it's not you but don't [expletive] this up just in case!
A fantastic age group. (Though I must admit I didn't expect pages of Saved by the Bell discussion when Castro, Rizzo and the bullpen looked so good.) Haha, yeah I actually was visiting the thread to hope to read/post about all the positives tonight (being how rare positive things are and all). But the SBTB conversation was a pleasant surprise anyway. What was nice: Castro and Rizzo reached base safely 9 out of 10 times tonight (including a couple doubles and a homer) The pen looked amazing, especially Ramirez and Rodon (not particularly surprised those two were strong) Probably smoke and mirrors, but Lake finally looked somewhat competent and hit the ball hard. I didn't watch closely enough to all his AB but still think his hits were solely off fastballs. Castillo looks like a really solid catcher. Defensively he may still have a few holes, but I love the production overall. What still pretty much sucked: Jackson continues to toe the line of being extremely average to pretty bad. So I'm sure there are holes to the below post. If not fundamentally wrong I'm sure I didn't give enough attention and maybe harped on some things too much. But I figured it was how I felt and that my non-existent baseball IQ Facebook friends (all my FB friends) wouldn't initially know any better. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
Normally I'd be happy to turn this game off and do something else. But I'm being forced to go to Wal Mart. KILL ME NOW Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
Is this a bigger shock than McDermott leaving Iowa State for Creighton? Mizzou is a better job than ISU and Creighton is a better job than Tulsa Tulsa is joining the AAC this season... ...which means the AAC will consist of Cincy, UConn, Memphis, SMU, Temple, South Florida, UCF, Houston, Tulsa, Tulane and East Carolina. Brutal, but still arguably as strong as the SEC. I apologize on behalf of ECU. Most of the students here are UNC, Duke, or NC State fans (to a lesser degree) come November. It's like most don't even acknowledge the basketball program. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
Hahaha. Those were my first thoughts when I saw her. She looked MISERABLE. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD The next kid was wearing Costanza's Gore-Tex coat. GET OUT OF MY HEAD! Kaplan's suit jackets and that boys coat fit roughly the same. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
JD is great: "That may have been the worst major league swing I've ever seen, especially on a fastball right down the middle." JD pulls no punches. I didn't mind Bob at all (liked him mostly), but JD is much better. The Cubs really do have the best booth IMO. I honestly don't want to imagine watching this inept on-field product with average or worse announcers. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
