  1. Stattrack has documented that it's 3rd (i think) in baseball. Stanton is first and someone else is second. He hits the ball REALLY hard consistently.
  2. true story: to this day I'll occasionally come across a biker driving against traffic and I'll say this out loud in the car. sometimes I have a passenger, but it's not really important. it just needs to be said out loud and loud enough to make me feel i nailed the movie line. this has been going on for at least 5 or 10 years now. haha btw does your annoying coworker still ask about the cubs? never. i've never been mean to the guy but i think he's picked up on the fact that i don't necessarily enjoy talking cubs with him. or maybe he's just weird or thinks i'm weird. doesn't matter i guess. but, funny story (if i can convey it). so after GAME ONE of the season, his email said "I see they are still the same bumbling, stumbling, dumbling cubs of always". to which, i though, is dumbling a word? surely not. but i googled it to make sure. the only thing that came up was urban dictionary: (the guy that sent the email is a 50-something white guy so he obviously just made the word up in his heated frustration over a single loss in a 162 game season) So I forwarded this to another co-worker and it's been an ongoing joke when someone makes a mistake or looks dumb that they are dumbling.
  3. take your time. molina's not paying attention anyway.

  7. did he just say "let's play 12?" seriously?
  8. i almost wish soler would have stumbled down the line on the way to home only to elicit a throw home that hit that [expletive] [expletive] molina in the neck tatoo as he turned around from his argument.
  9. HAHAHA. Toss em all! I never doubted the magically cubs could come back, fwiw
  10. Wood seems like he has a chip on his shoulder tonight
  11. me neither what are mojo's feelings about jets? this may help me distinguish between you two
  12. wood vs reynolds: battle of the blonde mullets
  13. side note: Joe looks like he's reverse aging as the season is going on.
  14. I thought it looked like he landed funny after one of his deliveries in the first and limped a bit. I could have totally made that up but that's what I thought I saw when it happened live. Hopefully it is something like that rather than arm issues... UGH
  15. seems like this team would be so fun to be a part of
  16. Maybe Dexter should just start hitting RH full time?
  17. Coghlan tried to throw his bat into the Cardnial's dugout. New fav player
  18. i blame this on the zac brown band member in the booth there is only one zack band worthy of my respect. Zack Attack.
  19. Arrieta really looking like a pro hitter out there today
  20. That's all? Seriously. I'm sure if it were that easy he would just elect to hit laser line drives to the gaps and call it a day. He's not really been good this year, but he's not doing it on purpose.
