    this team - after today's loss - is on pace to win 112 games in the regular season. they clearly aren't clicking on all cylinders, but enough has gone right for them to win 9 out of the first 12 games. hand-wringing about a third loss in 12 damn games sucks. I'm slightly bummed they lost today, too. i wish they would have won, of course. but then i'm like, "well they're still the best horsefeathering team in the majors with the best horsefeathering players" and I get over it. calm. down.

    The thing I remember about Scott Servais is that Steve Stone used to regularly say on-air that he was running like he was "pulling a plow". Maybe it's because I was a dumb kid, but did Steve Stone used to not be an insufferable ass?

    obviously i'm as bummed as anyone here, but the fact that soler, baez, and apparently bryant are the depth pieces is kind of remarkable. that said, here's hoping it's a strain or bone bruise but that twitter pic scared the horsefeathers out of me. Also, Rizzo!!
