    This Concepcion emergence is kind of out of nowhere, right? Interesting to see if he can keep it up. I know he had mono and some other injuries in years past, but it would be cool if he emerged as a MR guy out of nowhere. Not that I'm super concerned about middle relief on this current Cubs squad.

    I have been watching the Reds feed today for the comedy. The sound of silence is great. yeah that's my current conundrum. do i watch Len and JD and enjoy their brilliance? or do switch to thom and listen to him hate life? it's sort of a toss up. i wish there were two of me.

    the new guy at work resembles rizzo so i started calling him rizzo. i now text him and tell him good job after every rizzo HR. he's probably tired of me blowing up his phone.

    i really want the cubs to give warren the ball every other hammel start in the second half to hopefully keep him fresh and this effective. maybe not the entire second half, but certainly at times (assuming that hammel looks like he's wearing down some)

    Reds pitched out, Heyward tried to go through the 2nd baseman's legs. Heyward was DOA because of the pitch-out and a very good throw. they pitched out twice that AB? I was looking at the computer when the pitch was thrown and looked up when Len said he was running. The slide and everything just looked extremely awkward to watch. but he's ok so i don't care.
