    kendall is out for a game or 2 to heal his hand which was swollen from the hbp yesterday. z sucks again because he's mental. Z just needs K. Hill catching him again. He dominated with Hill playing. Look at the stats.

    Zambrano just needs Hill behind the plate. With Barrett he was average, then Hill caught him for a whiie and he dominated. Now with Kendall, he's not good again.

    Pie does not look like a major league batter right now. I'm curious. What does everyone think his numbers will look like next year? I'd be happy with .270/.355/.420, 12 homers, 70 RBI and 25 steals. It all depends on where they bat him. Another overrated prospect. Kerry better start throwing strikes. haha give me a break What has Pie done that shows a guy that will live up to the hype? Seriously, please explain. Pie has plus speed and plays excellent defense. There's always a market for those skills alone. He also had over 50 extra base hits in the minors last year. There's pop in his bat and he'll only fill out as he gets older. I hope you guys are right. I have heard this a lot over the past few years and nobody ever is a Reyes, Braun, Wright, etc. The Cubs have developed plenty of good position players. You just don't remember them because the last one was almost 20 YEARS AGO!

    He could not be a worse throwing catcher. He could try, but he would not succeed.

    I can't be the only one that doesn't get the appeal of watching golf. Golf is a lot more exciting than watching the Cubs offense.

    Ryan?? way to know your stuff. Ryan, Sean, Jason, Arnie, who the **** cares what this scrub's first name is. Send him back to double AA. I have no idea why they brought him the second time around. He wasn't that great. Petrick did alot better than this goof. Petrick/Cherry/Gallagher/Cotts/Ohman/Rapada don't work! Jim needed to acquire a reliever and he stood Pat. End of story. Did Rapada ever even pitch when he was up?

    I just think that if the pitching was as bad as the offense, everybody would want Rothschild fired, but I've never seen a post on here about Perry. Of course I don't read every thread so I could have missed some talk.

    start taking some of the blame for the offense? He took a bunch of power hitters and turned them into singles hitters.

    Nope...but promisingly enough, I heard he successfully spiked himself in the clubhouse today... And his two throws tonight weren't even close. One bounced in the grass in front of 2nd and the other was way too high. He can't throw but he makes up for it by not hitting.
