    I'm surprised at the 22-23 record on WGN. Seems like it should be better than that. Does anybody have the Cubs record on ESPN, Fox and TBS?

    Are they just going to keep running Marquis out there every 5 days or will they make another Trachselesque trade? Or will Lou ever realize that he has Sean Marshall available? Do we really need 3 LHers in the bullpen that bad?

    He won't be here next year so that's not an issue. you're so sure that Hendry won't be duped into a 4 year deal based on this season? i'd rather make a run at one of the brewers' aces. Imagine Z Sabathia/Sheets Harden yeah, that team couldn't help but win. With the way Yost will push Sabathia for the last 3 months of this season, I don't know if I would give him 16-18 mil a year. He's a major arm injury waiting to happen.

    Worst on TV at the moment The worst ad on TV at the moment and maybe ever, is the Olive Garden pass our plates to the left ad. Awful.

    Only problem is, Wood doesn't sound like he's anything near close to returning. And I mean, who misses a month with a blister? Honestly? Kerry Wood I guess.

    Marmol is not even the worst All Star this year. That honor goes to Jason Varitek.

    It's too bad the Cubs didn't draft Wieters last year. You could probably get Sabathia for Wieters, Gallagher and one more. Oh well, maybe Vitters will develop.

    Is there any reason why Patterson is up instead of Pie? At least Pie can play defense. Patterson is not much of a hitter either. He did have one good weekend, though.

    i concur you just don't like the cubs players actually thats not true at all, i like every play on the team aside from DeRo, Fontenot-skill, Therrible(even tho he has been a suprise) and Marquis. ooo and Cotts too You really dislike white Cubs.

    Is it just me, or is every pitch from Litsch basically the same? Every pitch so far is 83-85 with the same down and away from righthanders movement.

    What's wrong with you people? "Play Fontenot full time"? "Johnson and Edmonds full time"? How about Cedeno at 2nd and Derosa in left? That would be much better. Actually Cedeno at short and Theriot at 2nd would be better, but that will never happen. Also, is Lou trying to "Dusty" Dempster? Why leave him in to throw 120 pitches?

    If Scott Podsednik ever signs with the Cardinals, he will be the biggest Cub killer ever. He will single-handedly beat the Cubs 18 times a year.

    So, should I just give up on Cedeno ever getting regular playing time at SS? He has better numbers across the board than Theriot and plays better defense. I know Theriot's been good, but I would like to see Ronny play more. I almost threw the remote through the screen in the bottom of the 8th last night. Cedeno fails to get a bunt down and Sutcliffe tells us what a terrible player he is and "That's the reason he can't crack the lineup" forgetting that he had been on base twice already. Then Theriot gets a hit and he goes on about how great he is at the little things and how much he helped this team last year when he became the every day SS. Apparently he forgot that Theriot failed to get a bunt down in the 8th. I guess he's just grittier than Cedeno. That kind of stuff really grinds my gear.

    He'd be a good fit for the Rangers, but they may not be interested considering they aren't in contention. The Rangers are only 4 games behind the Angels.

    Yeah, Lee probably would have scooped that ball, but don't ignore the fact that it was a horrible throw.

    It's 4 and his first in 7 tries. It's also nowhere near any sort of record. Yeah, but he's on pace for about 15 BS. I don't know the record. I would try him in the 7th or 8th for a while. He might be better.

    Is this 4 or 5 blown saves now? He's on pace for some kind of record. Marmol for closer please. Let's see what Wood can do in the 7th and 8th for a while.
