  1. yeah, i said that before i saw the other (good) angle.
  2. well, maybe not. I guess he did cough it up.
  3. wow, was that really a fumble? looked like smith was down to me.
  4. Fielding win shares Carlos Lee - 4.0 Scoty Pod - 4.2
  5. Derrick Williams is pretty damn good.
  6. lololol is there anyone in the world that would pay money just to see Johnny Damon? MAYBE Bill Simmons.
  7. i'd say youre pretty lucky that no women read the college game threads, as far as i know.
  8. one hour till game time
  9. Don't underestimate Mizzou's ability to lose a must-win game against a less than mediocre opponent. OSU might be worse than Baylor this year. IMB anyone new word on Peterson for the game tomorrow? He'll play, until he hurts his ankle again, and then it's back to the jones/gut/hickson 3 headed monster
  10. The White Sox just seem like a bad team that is winning despite themselves. If they go 81-81 next year, is he still so great? It takes more than one fluke year for me to call someone a great gm. After 2003, everyone was ready to throw a parade for Hendry, and now most people are ready to run him out of town.
  11. Why is he not great? Because he doesn't fit the mold of a great GM? Help me out here. 99 wins. World Series run. Swept the World Series champs. Tons of moves in the offseason that have panned out. How is he *NOT* great? The facts would seem to be against you.... What has he done that was so great? His team winning a bunch of games doesnt make him a great gm.
  12. hahaha kenny williams is no great gm, hell, he's no hendry, and i dont even like hendry that much
  13. There's not much value in finishing 4th. That's not a biased opinion. It's what most of America believes, and probably what the majority of sports writers will determine. Maybe the majority of people are wrong, and you're right. It's not out of the question. "Value" is ambiguous, though. It's not necessarily black & white. And I'm not sure that Pujols had better teammates around him (other than the pitching). He spent much of the season with people like So Taguchi and Yadier Molina hitting behind him. I'm sure he would have preferred the protection of Aramis Ramirez, and might have benefitted from it. Lee didnt finish fourth Mrs. Pujols, the Cubs did. Lee provided more value than your son, but the rest of our team provided less than the rest of Pujols team did, I have no idea why this is so hard for you to grasp. Unless you just dont want to because you've already cleared a spot on your mantle for your sons first MVP award.
  14. Sure, if by "1998 roadmap" you mean "least valuable of the two wins" then sure.
  15. man, that top ten list is outstanding.
  16. definitely lloyd
  17. i finished 397th with 520 points
  18. Quite a battle there, salary advantage-Guzman and the production advantage goes to Neifi. If I was Washington and that was the battle at starting SS, I'd want a 3rd option. That's why they moved Zimmerman to SS. wowowow, did they really?
  19. not enough
  20. Don't overestimate the OSU offense, it is truly horrible.
  21. Okie state is garbage, they got shut out by Colorado last week.
  22. texas 51, ou 14
  23. Well, this year, Umfan started the injury thread, just as he did last year. We all told him it was a jinx, but NOOOOO NO SUCH THING AS JINXES, right? WRONG.
  24. dobby, lets do lost nicknames.
