    Btw, in a season where Lebron averaged 30, 7 and 7, Chris Paul had the best season by a PG in over a decade and Kobe Bryant dominated the league, Bill Simmons picked Kevin Garnett as his MVP. It's sad really, Simmons was great at first, then got to the point where only his NBA stuff was accurate and now he's fallen into the ESPN trap of saying stupid S just to get a reaction instead of actually doing good work.

    He should be at least an .800 OPS guy that plays superb defense, I can't imagine why anyone would want to get him at bats.

    Gasol was a monster. 38, 16, 8 and 3 blocks! Easily the best trade deadline move in the NBA this year. best one in a long time, considering what they gave up for him

He's a sox fan and overrates the importance of "smart ball", but he's a good guy. Let's treat him as such.     Little known fact, each team can only have three power and RBI guys at one time. Every other player has to be a slow, weak-hitting white guy. The Lee/Podsednik trade made your offense worse, a minor leaguers/Roberts trade would make ours better.
