  1. That pretty much goes for quarterbacks, period. Yeah, but no one cares if you miss on a 3rd round QB from Popcorn State University. If you pick a QB in the top 10 picks and he bombs, you've set your entire franchise back a few years.
  2. is this a copy/paste from the jesus thread
  3. There's no need for that language. Ok, I'll just call him a B**** next time, instead of using a single letter of the alphabet.
  4. it's so odd to have your entire perception of bizzinger shattered in about 10 minutes i like to think of writers as calm, rational, "in the background types". Guess that's my bad.
  5. Sorry, I meant more misses than hits. My point was supposed to be that first round QBs are a crapshoot, no matter if they go No. 1 overall or No. 30
  6. You can turnover a basketball team in no time. At least the Bulls aren't saddled in cap despair like the Knicks are. Chicago is pretty clearly the better job.
  7. First round QBs since 2000 2000 No. 18 Chad Pennington 2001 No. 1 Mike Vick (Drew Brees was the first pick of the second round 2002 No. 1 David Carr No. 3 Joey Harrington No. 32 Patrick Ramsey 2003 No. 1 Carson Palmer No. 7 Byron Leftwich No. 19 Kyle Boller No. 22 Rex Grossman 2004 No. 1 Eli Manning No. 4 Philip Rivers No. 11 Ben Roethlisberger No. 22 JP Losman 2005 No. 1 Alex Smith No. 24 Aaron Rodgers No. 25 Jason Campbell 2006 No. 3 Vince Young No. 10 Matt Leinart No. 11 Jay Cutler 2007 No. 1 Jamarcus Russell No. 22 Brady Quinn Obviously the last two classes are still up in the air, but there are a lot more hits than misses in the other ones.
  8. watch out for this guy http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v429/KingJME/Seniorpic1.jpg
  9. i forgot grant johnson existed.
  10. lol, did paul pierce flash the blood at him? hilarious
  11. it's better than a broken jaw or being a ginger He's not normally a slow starter, at least not this slow.
  12. In the early 2008 season, his numbers are better at home than on the road. If you can call a .581 OPS "better" than something.
  13. 3rd. He just hasn't looked right at all. Someone mentioned it before, I think, but this whole triceps thing looks a lot like Woody in Los Angeles a few years back. He's 3-0 with an 0.96 ERA, an 0.64 WHIP, 24Ks in 28 innings and his BAA is .164
  14. You mean Joe Carter, right? Because I'm pretty sure Chip and Joe Morgan in the same booth would have caused some sort of apocalyptic event had it ever occurred. I knew I called him Morgan. Yeah I mean Carter although they are both equally bad. Joe Morgan is about 1,000 times better as an announcer than Joe Carter was.
  15. A 4.5 is pretty fast for a powerback that can cut like AD does. Coming into OU the word was that he ran 4.4s in highschool and was putting up 4.3s at OU in preperation for the draft, but I take all of that crap with a grain or 10 of salt.
  16. He's a ridiculous athlete. Now that he can focus on football fulltime, he has the chance to turn into a real playmaker.
  17. say what you want about matt ryan, but leave the sweater vest out of this
  18. Looks like Ryan. Does Dorsey get past Oakland, then?
  19. NFL.com has it live if you arent close to a TV god bless you. it's gonna be even harder to pay attention to this damn spring game now.
  20. I'm sort of sad, because this is the first draft in probably 15 years that I'm not able to watch on live TV.
  21. Why in the hell did the Mets trade him? He can run, hit, and field. he's sort of a dick
