  1. lol this cannot be true
  2. i dont know, it just makes sense to me. chicago needs a stop gap scoring option at 2 guard and AI and gordon are sort of vaguely similar in terms of pluses/minuses. the bulls want to save up for 2010, but they dont want to just throw out a nobody roster and tank this year. they need to be competitive. im probably wrong and they'll just hope salmons can hold it down. i just thought it would be funny
  3. Not a chance in hell Absolutely. AI is everything that Bulls don't like in their players. just you wait, sign and trade
  4. love seeing zambrano celebrating behind the plate after that throw
  5. you guys didn't like ben gordon? that's cool, iverson's coming to chicago to replace him (my guess)
  6. Since when has Arkansas been a 3rd rate school and the SEC a 2nd rate basketball conference? the last decade
  7. I don't get why the Clippers wanted Richardson. How does that help? Randolph is a weirdo and all, but he's still a 20-10 guy, and you got back...Q-Rich? Okay... it probably has something to do with blake griffin and the fact that z-bo is fat, lazy, expensive and a defensive liability. I didn't say I didn't get why they traded Randolph. I just have a hard time seeing how Richardson, aside from contract, helps the Clippers at all, and I suspect they could have gotten more for him--or at least different. well, the clippers are notoriously, repeatedly stupid. and the return for z-bo was destined to be slim, considering how much he makes and the fact that no one wants him. Except the grizz, apparently, who are just as stupid as the clippers.
  8. joe johnson is underrated because he played in a third-rate school in a second-rate basketball conference and has toiled with the Hawks for the last few years. I know I'm not breaking any news here, but he's really good.
  9. which is basically exactly what happened in 2007... only for some reason we really did go off and win a bunch in a row after that. anyway, as soon as piniella was walking off the field, i had the same thought. it looked like he was thinking "there's some managing for you, assholes."
  10. you guys won't believe this last night i took the trash out to the garbage can. today, i get up and go out there and the garbage man left me a ps3!!!! i'm so excited.
  11. Wait wait, you really truly believe that Lou getting ejected earlier would have us playing better baseball? Like, for real? this guy brought us rich harden last year.... let him do his thing
  12. morey is killing it on twitter right now with all his gortat schenanigans. houston has to be the favorite for him at this point,

  14. Don't break your arm patting yourself on the back, there. After reading some of the comments about Fuld after I suggested he play, you bet. Nice to hear a respected, ex big leaguer back it up as well. Oh give me a break. The guy has floated around AAA opsing in the .700's for two or three years now. He's not that good. He had a good game. But since he's a "hustler" and a "gamer" (and, "White") he's suddenly the 'spark' on this team? Give me a break. I'm glad he had a good game, but let's not get carried away here. Carried away? He provided a spark. I never said he was the greatest player in the bigs. It's comical, though, that someone can thoroughly suck as bad as Fukudome has, yet have this over the top love on this board. It's very much like Corey Patterson had it here. one game
  15. Should be leading off for good.. I know no one is used to seeing out leadoff man get on base, but that's how it's done. maybe the three best at bats in major league history. re-writing the record books. GO FULD
  16. As we all know, those are the best stats to show how valuable a player is. 0 HR and 3 RBI for June. A below .150 batting avg. How about those stats? you aren't following
  17. So he'll learn how to hit again by not playing? FUNDAMENTALS. just have fukudome work with brenly during his days off
  18. what about Meph? he also wishes you were as smart as me
  19. he noticed bad baserunning? what a key managerial eye. wait, you noticed it, too? forget brenly, sign up this diamondmind guy. Man I wish I was as smart as you!! so does everyone else, trust me
  20. he noticed bad baserunning? what a key managerial eye. wait, you noticed it, too? forget brenly, sign up this diamondmind guy.
  21. wait...what? This is a valid point. Money does not make a difference at this point. Who cares how much money he makes. At this point the only options are for him to get better, get optioned or get traded. well, money has something to do with whether or not he'll get traded.
  22. lol after one at bat be serious As a leadoff hitter, I am being serious. Its something we need. When Sorianos hot, hes middle of the order material. When hes cold, he has no business in a major league lineup. Theres rarely an in between for him. please explain why a 27-year old who can barely top a .750 ops in AAA is a "something we need" at the top of the lineup
  23. god, lee smoked that. wish we didnt WASTE AN OUT first
