My opinion will change over and over before the Thursday LeBron James Bachelor Finale, but right now ... With the force out of World Wide Wes, who was apparently pushing the Bulls, I would rule Chicago out Also, Wes was apparently pushing the Bulls because he thought they were the best shot at mulitple championships. Which makes me think LeBron and/or his people are more interested in the LeBron Brand. If so, he's not going to someone else's team. See ya, Miami. So it's the Knicks, the Nets or the Cavs. The Jay-Z connection is the only reason I'm not ruling out the Nets. Roster-wise, they're in a pretty good situation, better than the Knicks, but until they get into Brooklyn, it would be like balling in basketball purgatory. I don't see it. Brand-wise, it's hard to get much better than Madison Square Garden. But they've been so mismanaged for so long, and outside of LeBron, they really look bare. I guess Eddy Curry's deal expires after this year, but trading in Lee for Amare is totally lateral, so the team itself isn't much better now than it was at the end of the season. I guess there's a chance he goes here, but it still doesn't seem likely. Which leaves the Cavs. He can sign a 3-year deal, look like a hero, like he's giving his home team one more shot, and then bounce in 3 seasons while he's still young enough to do this all over again. Plus, it's a devil you know over the devil you don't situation. I have to imagine he's basically running things there as it is, and by pretty much keeping that franchise from heading back to hell, whatever reigns he doesn't have right now anyway would probably be handed over to him. I'd say 70% Cleveland, 25% Knicks, 5% Nets.
