Man, the Bulls really knocked it out of the park. The Knicks tank for two years in order to get LeBron, and all they do is roll out a 90-year old owner and a GM in a wheelchair, show him a .jpeg artifacted powerpoint presentation and go "So .....?"

I've wondered about that myself and I'm not sure if that statement is true. Cubs overall: .253/.319/.392 (13th BA, 13th OBP, 13th SLG, 13 OPS, 14th runs scored) Cubs without Lee and Ramirez at all: .263/.326/.404 (4th BA, 10th OBP, tied 8th SLG, 10th OPS) If you take Lee and Ramirez's 3 year averages and apply them to this year (giving them only the number of at-bats they've had this year): Cubs with regular Lee and Ramirez .271/.336/.426 (2nd BA, 4th OBP, 3rd SLG, 3rd OPS) Somebody can check my calculations, but I'm pretty sure they're close. Lee and Ramirez are the difference between this team being really good and really bad this year. i'd rather live in ignorance, dammit

I just think it's rad that Suarez did that, was red-carded, sent off and can't play in the semifinal game ... and he's a national hero. that's like the ultimate sports sacrifice. He does nothing and it's a sure loss, he sacrifices himself and it's almost a sure loss, but not quite. And fate conspired to work in his favor. I know if you have a chance to get LeBron and Wade in one offseason, you do just go for it, but what is Rose's role on that team? He can't defend, he's not a jumpshooter and now he's not even the primary ball-handler or distributor.
