  1. am i crazy or did carmelo sign an ext with denver?
  2. Or maybe Durant knows if he waits one more year, a max deal won't be nearly as much as 5/85 he committed for the full 5 years, no out-clause after 4 SO F YOU
  3. amare is basically moe williams the power forward. i really doubt he's a big draw for LeBron. If he goes to the knicks, it's all about market/image, not about some partnership with amare
  4. F YOU GUYS
  5. http://www.missouri.illinois/shouldbeonprobation.com/ i hate you
  6. My opinion will change over and over before the Thursday LeBron James Bachelor Finale, but right now ... With the force out of World Wide Wes, who was apparently pushing the Bulls, I would rule Chicago out Also, Wes was apparently pushing the Bulls because he thought they were the best shot at mulitple championships. Which makes me think LeBron and/or his people are more interested in the LeBron Brand. If so, he's not going to someone else's team. See ya, Miami. So it's the Knicks, the Nets or the Cavs. The Jay-Z connection is the only reason I'm not ruling out the Nets. Roster-wise, they're in a pretty good situation, better than the Knicks, but until they get into Brooklyn, it would be like balling in basketball purgatory. I don't see it. Brand-wise, it's hard to get much better than Madison Square Garden. But they've been so mismanaged for so long, and outside of LeBron, they really look bare. I guess Eddy Curry's deal expires after this year, but trading in Lee for Amare is totally lateral, so the team itself isn't much better now than it was at the end of the season. I guess there's a chance he goes here, but it still doesn't seem likely. Which leaves the Cavs. He can sign a 3-year deal, look like a hero, like he's giving his home team one more shot, and then bounce in 3 seasons while he's still young enough to do this all over again. Plus, it's a devil you know over the devil you don't situation. I have to imagine he's basically running things there as it is, and by pretty much keeping that franchise from heading back to hell, whatever reigns he doesn't have right now anyway would probably be handed over to him. I'd say 70% Cleveland, 25% Knicks, 5% Nets.
  7. I think Miami is the least likely, because LeBron would be completely upstaging Wade by holding his own special. "I'm going to Miami... oh and by the way, Wade is re-signing too." *Wade emerges from shadows with Chris Bosh to join LeBron on stage* It is still "LeBron's special", which would put him in the starring role and make Wade and Bosh his sidekicks. Also, if all three players are involved, there is no way those plans will remain silent until Thursday night. This is true. I'm really hoping it gets leaked, but I'm betting that it's not going to. He's going to get absolutely absurd ratings for that show if nothing leaks. I really dont know what to think about this. I mean, on one hand why would he hold a big special to announce that he's staying right where he was before. At the same time, If he was going to Miami I doubt he'd be able to do a special like this for the reasons you guys have already alluded to. I wish I could just forget about this until Thursday at about 8:59. huge bulls fan now, huh
  8. they can't keep the location secret for long. everyone at espn is dying to break anything lebron related, and they have to know way ahead of time.
  9. im excited about colvin's past-tense, not so much his future tense
  10. hahaha all these phonies got all geared up to be bulls fans so they could root for an easy championship when lebron came on board. it's going to be fun to watch them slink away when it doesnt happen
  11. all these reporters are being fed a stream of BS from everyone involved in the process, but because more good comes out of being the first person to get it right than bad comes from being one of the 1000 that get it wrong over and over, they have to run with it.
  12. if someone doesnt fix this thread title im going to lose my mind
  13. thank god omar infante got a well-deserved spot Votto: .988 OPS/.425 wOBA Infante: .721 OPS/.320 wOBA Wow. I can see it now, Rivera .v. Infante for HFA in the World Series. i hope it comes down to that, f whoever gets out of the nl, i hope they lose 4-0
  14. im sure this has been mentioned a million times, but it would simplify this process so much if they just made sure the host team had a representative instead of all teams.
  15. what the [expletive], paul konerko has 20 hr? i hate this season
  16. it would be so much easier if he didn't say words like simpliest all the time, but your wish is my command
  17. i cant tell if that's a joke or not, but im not stalking. i laugh when a post makes me laugh. he posts hilarious stuff in lots of threads so i come across it a lot.
  18. man, votto would have hit 3 home runs today
  19. Absolutely shocking that you say this after he thinks it's possible or likely that the Bulls get shut out. I'm going to laugh when LeBron signs with the Cavs and I read you saying that LeBron doesn't care about winning and will never win anything. Bucher is an idiot because he's an idiot. "Kobe Bryant played his last game as a Laker" was exactly his finest hour. I didn't call him an idiot because the Bulls MIGHT strike out, cause I know the Bulls MIGHT strike out, I call him an idiot he takes the simpliest info he gets and turns it into a full blown story regardless if that little nugget of info is true or not. I know he isn't the only one that does it, because they all do and that is why they are idiots. And maybe James will stay in Cleveland, but it would fly against a lot of James' motives. Look if James stays in Cleveland, I will respect the man for remaining loyal, but this is also his career, and he must put that above "loyalty". (Loyalty is an overplayed card in todays sports, imo) If he returns to Cleveland he needs to make it as a business decision, not an emotional decision. The Cavs are a 60 win team, not because they are actually good, cause they are not, they are a 60 win team because of James. lol "simpliest" You sir are a stalker, I implore you to put me on you "foes" list, so you can stop nickpicking everything I say. Jerk. no way, your posts are too funbad
