  1. The Bulls have about as much a chance at winning a championship as Boston or Dallas. Because it's none. yeah how the hell did boston and dallas make that list lol
  2. There's not enough bandwidth on this site for me to list all the things id rather do than watch a gold glove awards show
  3. Yeah, it's such a sham. "WE'LL MAKE THE TAX SLIGHTLY MORE PUNITIVE, THAT SHOULD KEEP LA AND NY IN LINE *wink wink*" Never mind the fact they both get upwards of $200 million for their TV deals while the thunder make $15 mil. It's still just a drop in the bucket to true big market teams. I really shouldn't complain, this is the reality of being in this market, it just blows to watch a guy like Harden walk and then see the lakers be like "well i guess we can give up josh mcroberts for dwight howard." I just cant wait for this cba to expire so the owners can go LOOK, WE TRIED AND IT STILL DIDN'T WORK, and we'll lose another year and that vampire Adam Silver will [expletive] everything up
  4. i talked to ron wotus once, total dick
  5. I'm OK with the trade, so I won't get into that. I just think it's funny that we're not even a year past the signing of the new CBA "which will give small market teams a chance to compete" and the Lakers trade for Dwight Howard while the Thunder have to cut loose a guy that won't accept far under market value. GET FUCKED, NBA.
  6. I don't think the deal was all about the extra 5 mil from either party. I get the feeling it was a token offer, so we could say "well we tried" and he could say "dont turn down a max deal after a rookie contract" when the reality was, he wanted to start. I don't think Harden is a No. 1 (to steal a bad baseball term.) He may not be THE MAN or even want to be, but he wants to start. I think it came down to that.
  7. When he turned the deal down earlier in the day, I knew he was gone. I just didn't know it would be during the same damn day ahaha. I think it's OK. It's a big step back this year, but I'm a big Lamb fan, and getting those picks will help. Durant/Westbrook/Ibaka are a playoff team for the duration they're together, and if you can't keep Harden (a story ran nationally about it costing an 20 million a year just to keep him), you might as well grab a chance to try and add another 4th stud later. Maybe it's Lamb or maybe it's someone from one of those picks. And maybe it's no one, but if Harden left, it was gonna be no one, anyway, so might as well try.
  8. well when you put it like that

    NFL Week 6

man would ray retire? that would be sad.
  10. Darren Rovell gets suckered by someone literally once a week. what an idiot.
  11. the whole thing just seems odd to me
  12. the jags and gabbert are so bad, the bears will probably not even need offensive points to cover a -4.5 spread.
  13. Sailors have a tendency to apply terminology related to ships to other aspects of life. A jib is a small triangular sail before the main sail on large ships and cutters. Many countries used different cuts and displayed their colors on the jib. When "cut of the jib" is applied to men, it means "your stylistic choices" . Treebeard/Tree/Treeman/Treymon has a way of making a point with whit, that cuts right to the heart of the matter. Many people here are crazy excited about "financial flexibility" and high draft picks when neither of those things mean anything if the Cubs are not trying to win at the major league level. I hope that helps. Well you sure took the wind of out his sails. Oh buoy, here come the puns
