    We had an old guy in our town who made slideshows of all the sports as just a hobby. As in nobody asked him to or wanted him to. No sport was immune from 8th grade cheerleading/track all the way up to varsity football. Dude was weird. When I was in high school he had been doing it for over 15 years. #Lowrimore yesssssss ahahhahahahhahaha man i hope that dude isn't dead

    I get NBA burnout too. First month of the season is cool, because you see how your players who are still getting better have improved, and what your rookies are capable of. Then the next 19 months of the season are completely boring. Then the playoffs are kind of cool

    not to diminish the miserable level of competition of college athletics, because that point can't be made enough, but generally the HARD CORE fans of any sport are pathetic losers college football fans are THE WORST, because the level of college athletics is something many of them see as reasonably attainable. Living in Oklahoma, there are a lot of people are here who are hardcore college football/basketball fans, and are relatively laid back about the other sports. I think it's because they can't see themselves as a 30-year-old NFL QB, but they see an 18-year-old fumbling the football and they think "man if just a couple things had gone right for me, I coulda..."
