    pisses me off that they black balled him for years simply because everyone (rightfully but still) assumed he did steroids, as opposed to the countless others who used banned substances and were never good enough for anyone to care whether they used or not, then let him back in as a PR move after forcing him to apologize for using steroids while never saying steroids.     if the cubs are going to be remotely decent offensively in 25 it literally requires Busch to be good. Pondering whether he actually is or isn't good is meaningless. If he doesn't hit next year, we suck, Bellinger on the roster or not.

    Obviously in a vacuum no. But by the time there was 25 seconds left it was obvious they were completely discombobulated. Your options are to ride it out or stop it with a to, call a sideline pass and worse case scenario attempt an unlikely field goal. Then you go to the presser and say obviously we wanted to have that timeout to set up The FG but time was ticking away and we weren’t close to getting the ball snapped so i made a decision. much better option than what happened. And that’s not mentioning him defending it all after the game lol

    im starting to wonder if the plan should be just to shotgun out all the resources on pitching, hope half of the additions stick, and ride that to 90 wins? there aren't a lot of obvious upgrades offensively out there, we're getting a full year of Paredes who yes, i did say sucks, but he's better than morel, and PCA, who i really think is gonna have a good 2025.
