    Seriously, if Hendry doesn't DFA Miles when Ramirez comes back, it's just flat out stupidity. Signing him is 1 thing, not cutting bait is another. He needs to cut bait.

    We should have bunted. Seriously. This offense sucks, at least a ground ball or sac fly gets 1 run in there. Bunted with Reed, to get to Fontenot vs a lefty and Aaron Miles? You got to be kidding me The chances of Fontenot hitting a ground ball or sac fly are probably greater than Reed getting a hit. Unfortunately. This team blows.

    Lou also seemed to have no clue what was wrong with Waddell, furthering speculation that this is probably a phantom DL stint. I'm sure they could say he has migranes or something like that.

    For the performance per $, they do. For performance per $, Sosa was a worse value than Smalley. End of his career Sosa was, but that was also a resigning. There were probably plenty of years that Sosa outperformed his contract, but Fangraphs only goes back to 2002. Not to mention all of the money the Cubs got from his publicity, bringing fans in, merchandise, etc...

    I'm with you. I'm not all for booing players for poor performance. But poor effort and not even paying attention absolutely deserves it. You guys think Milton will support Hendry when he gets fired after the season? I mean, he's going to be a major reason in Jim getting fired. Hendrys not getting fired How not? If we go .500 or worse with this payroll coming off of 97 wins, how can he not be? I don't care if him and Ricketts are butt buddies or not, Ricketts isn't a moron.
