They should go watch video of the Busch stands during the Ray Lankford/Mark Whiten days and get back to us. This is what I hate most about the BFIB. They're historically the most successful NL franchise, but it's not enough. They have to act like butthurt whiny bitches at the first sign anyone could challenge their "fandom". Or how they glorify McGwire but trash Sammy, as if there's a distinction other than McGwire roided up "the Cardinal Way". Please win Cubs. Historical Attendance study. You can look by team/year and a bunch of other variable. Yeah. You're screwed. There's not enough bandwidth to support streaming. Netflix, etc... never works unless it's content already downloaded to your machine. Unless it's a plane that has DirecTV, in which case that will be the best $8 you'll ever spend.

Castro up to 0.8 WAR on Fangraphs. If he gets to 1.0, that would certainly be something. OPS of .679 also, so .700 isn't out of the question. What an incredible story.

Stephen Johns (Dman--traded to Dallas in the Sharp trade) has been waived by Dallas. I know a few people weren't enamored with including him in the trade. If Stan wants, he can try to bring him back.

Have to wonder about those tweets. Not to go on a rant about journalistic standards these days, but throwing a tweet out there is no substitute for double or triple sourcing your reporting. It's so much easier for people to manipulate a case, basically using the media as their mouthpiece. Have to wonder what the motivation is for talking. Same thing with Kane's side of course. They were from Julie DiCaro (ex-lawyer who now works for 670 the Score), so I consider them relatively trustworthy.

Might not matter at this point, but several tweets saying that the accuser intends to proceed with complying with police, has texts from that night saying she wanted to leave way earlier, and her friend, who was originally reluctant to testify because she is 19 and shouldn't have been in the bar in the first place, has now agreed to cooperate with police and testify if needed. So, if the DA wants to proceed, that testimony could lead to a Grand Jury and/or indictment. But with all of this circus going on, he might decide to just end the whole thing.

not that i'm defending the decision, but joe said he's the most well conditioned athlete he's ever been around. he really doesn't look like he ever labors and so i'm sure there is truth behind this mentality, but it doesn't seem like it's necessary. And Mark Prior had perfect mechanics. This decision was [expletive]. -

I think it was closer to -1.0, but either way a remarkable turnaround. He's been worth 1.5-2 wins in about 6 weeks.

If they have any sense, they'd be shopping him right now. They won't get anything more than a 5th round pick or so for him, but that would be more beneficial to the future of this team than Forte playing out the string this year will be.

Well, the B1G and SEC basically left them no choice. Fair. I guess they could have used Texas Tech beating Arkansas as an excuse to head to Lubbock for Tech vs. TCU, but that would have been a stretch. And the Big 12 isn't an ESPN darling either.
