dude, that's completely selfish. I know you want to see them live in SD, but they stand a much better chance to get through this if they don't have to face SD, regardless of no Bradley or Cameron, especially if up against Peavy and Young in games 1 and 2 at Petco. go Colorado, Brewers, Nats, Mets (cuz the Cubs don't stand much chance against Phillie's offense right now either). I think SD and Arizona are about even. Like Raisin said, Young hasn't been great. So without Bradley and Cameron, Arizona has the better offense. SD has a slight edge in pitching, but outside of Peavy they aren't spectacular. I hope we play one of them the first round and the other the second round. But whoever comes out of the AL is going to be a dang solid team.

I'm not sure if that's normal, but the Reds always seem really bitter about all the Cubs fans there. And I couldn't see the out of town board from my seats, it was killing me.

Man, it was great tonight how mad a lot of the Reds fans were that there were so many Cubs fans. This guy behind us would cheer really loud whenever the Reds would do anything remotely good, at which point I would yell something to the affect of, "too bad that catch isn't worth 6 runs". He also started talking about Rex Grossman, but he didn't realize my group was from central Indiana, and we were all Colts fans...so that kind of backfired. And at one point between innings they mentioned Joe Morgan on the big screen and I kind of lost it and went on a little tirade about how much he sucks and proudly displayed my Sandberg jersey. Fun night...I just wish the Brewers game would have ended earlier so they could have had an on-field celebration. -

JUST GOT BACK FROM CINCY!!! HELLLL YESSSS!!!! I would post pictures but my seats were so crappy it'd be kind of pointless. I'll check them out tomorrow and see if any are worth posting. I knew Zambrano as going to shut them down! I'm feeling confident about our chances of making it to the WS! Oh, and sorry I'm not drunk, I had to drive back from Cincy. -

Starting Trachsel today rivals anything Dusty did. Absolutely awful, indefensible decision. I just really can't see how he can justify it. The only excuse is if he was joking about it and then someone else thought he was serious and put it him on the lineup card. -
Zambrano is going to be so damn pumped tomorrow. He is going to mow the Reds down with so much raw aggression it should be illegal. And I'm going to be there to see it!! This is going to be the awesomest game ever! For realsies, Zambrano is going to be abominably dominating tomorrow...He'll pitch the best game of his life.

I just got the opportunity to check the score...I just had this feeling and I knew for sure the Brewers would be winning...nice surprise. The Office was pretty freakin sweet too.

Exactly. I'm also just starting mine. My homewormk has offically been put on weather delay until ten minutes before class tomorrww. I have some stupid case study for my media law class thats 1/3 of my grade...but its not due til friday so I can just not sleep tomorrow....and then drive to cincinnati and back and hope I don't die.

Plane tickets have been purchased, and I will be in chicago that weekend, regardles of wheteher or not the cobs pull off the choke job. you will most certainly see me at my finest/worst, depending on perspecitve. We are going to have to pull together a massive NSBB meet up Vance is buying drinks Mark is buying hookers I'll throw in the heroin (if the Cubs didn't make the playoffs / lose in the playoffs) We can all sleep on Seth's floor. I'll bring my Sega Saturn and we can play MLB 97 til the break of dawn.
