It does for people who want to see the Cubs in the playoffs in San Diego. :( Screw San Diego, go Brewers. I don't want the Brandon Webb/Doug Davis/Micah Owings show in the playoffs. Give me Philly. The Howard, Utley, Rowand, Rollins, Burrell show doesn't seem very appealing either. Seriously, the Phils offense will kill Lilly and Hill and Marquis too. I don't know. If it comes down to RF vs. SS, might want to look at improving RF because I don't think ARod is happening with the pending sale. I'd rather have Burrell than Renteria, who I expect will decline next season. That might be the better option, but I'm biased when it comes to Murton...I just love the guy for some reason.

Its kind of stupid to be thinking about next year when we still have a world series to win, but I think if we can upgrade SS, I'd like to see Murton, Pie, and Soto go full time. Soriano Murton Lee Ramirez Tejada/Renteria/Arod Soto DeRosa Pie ....not too shabby

Ronny has come on strong, if there's no ARod/Renteria/etc. here next year, I hope he gets a fair chance to win the job because he's a better talent and appears to be improving his strike zone discipline. I'm thinking about his chances of starting in the playoffs. I think its doubtful, but he's been roaring hot.

Haha! That and we need to just bring up the rest of Iowa. And they said Iowa's offense couldn't be replicated in the big leagues. BRING UP JOSH KROEGER! As long as his brother Chad doesn't sing the 7th inning stretch.
