    Ben Sheets may miss his next start,,,We are in fine shape. He may miss a lot more tha that, and dont forget that we face the Pirates this weekend and most likely miss Gorzelanny and Snell. UMFan83 has Zambrano facing Gorzelanny this weekend in his "Probable Starters" thread cubs.com also has Gorzelanny going on Sunday. Not only that but the unstoppable Zach Duke on Saturday. Career 4.20 ERA, but a 1.57 career ERA in 7 starts against the Cubs :?: cubs.com and espn.com both have John Van Benschoten starting Saturday's game for the Pirates. The Pirates have announced that they are going to start Duke on Saturday so they can have 3 left-handers going against the Cubs. assholes

    My only concern is that he is so freaking awesome as a reliever. I love having him come into a game and feeling completely comfortable. I would hate to have him fail as a starter and something Cub like happens and he gets head issues and is never able to readjust himself to being a reliever. This isn't based on real evidence or anything like that, so I can't think of any real reasons not to try him as a starter.

    Biggio, Berkman, Lee, Scott, Loretta, Wigginton and Ausmus are all in the Astros starting lineup today. Thats 7 of their 8 regulars. Did the Cardinals, Reds and Astros get pissed when we trotted out Theriot, Soto, Coats, etc last September. Did we sit anyone as good as Hunter Pence in their games? If we did, we should have been criticized too. Thats ridiculous. Why? After tomorrow they have a week and a half to sit the 24 year old Pence. If he is wore down. So you think the Astros are purposefully trying to blow these games?
