  1. Yeah, they've worn them out pretty good. Ball State's offense has looked really good in the 2nd half. I've been really impressed with Davis, especially since Rutgers is getting pressure on him almost every play. I think he'll make a pretty decent NFL quarterback.
  2. Washington over Seattle Jacksonville over Pittsburgh Giants over Tampa Bay Chargers over Tennessee Washington over Dallas Green Bay over Giants Jacksonville over New England Indianapolis over Chargers Indianapolis over Jacksonville Green Bay over Washington Indianapolis over Green Bay
  3. Rutgers is pretty well controlling the line of scrimmage, but Ball State's still not doing that bad. If Ball State's defense can step it up a bit and then give Davis some protection on offense, they still have a shot.
  4. Washington Jacksonville NY San Diego
  5. The first half was pretty crazy, but in the last 6 weeks or so they haven't been impressive at all. They've almost lost to the Eagles, Ravens, Jets, and Giants. They have a very unspectacular defense and I really think the Jaguars are going to knock them out of the playoffs in the 2nd round.
  6. I really don't think Peyton cares that much about the record. If he cared he would've played into the 4th quarter in those blowout games or played more in the last game of the season that year. Good point. Not really. It wasn't his choice to play or sit in those games. It's the coaches. Also he probably didn't think anybody would be approaching that record so soon. So you don't think Peyton has any say? I'm going to have to be skeptical of that. I doubt Dungy would have let him launch the ball downfield late in the 4th quarter of blowouts like Brady, but I'm sure he could have played more if he really wanted to.
  7. What screwed up, backwards world are you living in that you don't consider Erstad the blockbuster of the offseason?
  8. \:D/ \:D/ \:D/ \:D/ \:D/ \:D/ \:D/ \:D/ \:D/ \:D/ \:D/ \:D/ Bob Sanders is the #1 reason to legalize gay marriage. He seriously seems super-human. I'm very happy about that news.
  9. shoot a 21 yr old is still a kid *L* Yeah, you're not a real adult until you're 22. However, next year the cut off will be 23. I imagine it will change every year until I'm in my 80's.
  10. Best idea yet. Count me as someone who would be very angry if they renamed Wrigley. Wrigley Field is one of the most pure things left in baseball (I know its not completely pure, but more than just about anything else). The tradition/atmosphere associated with the Cubs is one of the fews reasons I can be proud to be a Cubs fan.
  11. Line Drive percentage. Is that a real stat? Yeah. It's right in there with ground ball percentage and fly ball percentage... which a lot of people look at. But wouldn't it have to be pretty subjective. At what degree does a line drive become a fly ball? Or how high off the ground does a hard hit grounder have to be to be a line drive? Stats are meaningless, just judge all players on tools and grit.
  12. I would think an offer similar to what's been discussed for Roberts could get Blanton. Murton/Marshall/Patterson. I think Blanton would help us more than Roberts. I also agree with you about our current rotation.
  13. Hey Ward, we got a spot for you, buddy.
  14. Man, this is sad. It was always nice to have that hope that 03 Prior would come back. I think this is the most disappointed I've been about losing a player.
  15. Or does he just have that quick of a swing?
  16. My goodness that would be amazing. Soriano Fukudome Lee ARod Ramirez DeRosa Soto Pie =P~
  17. On opening day we'll have Jason Marquis and Ryan Dempster in the rotation. I really doubt that actually happens.
  18. woah, lets not get ahead of ourselves. I think I agree with Guancous.
  19. I like it.... http://i125.photobucket.com/albums/p60/randysanchez69/hulkamania.jpg
  20. Others like 1908 and Meph know more about Japanese baseball than me, but I would say it's between AAA and the Majors. So he faces the Rich Hills of the world everyday.
  21. http://japanesebaseball.com/players/player.jsp?PlayerID=1064 Check out his fielding stats at the bottom. He's played 11 games at SS....Our prayers are answered!!
