Muschamp should have went for the job and south carolina. Would have been a great HC job for him to get the inside track on. Still a big time program but not quite the circus that the other big SEC programs are. I agree on that one. I'm just not sure that Spurrier's ego could have taken on Boom. It might also be familiarity, since Boom coached at Auburn once before, IIRC. Auburn is going to be a real threat now too. He will win a NC at Auburn before he ever would have at SC.

There's a lot of chatter about the Dodgers gunning for Jimmy Rollins. As desperate as The Phillies are in need of a rebuild, there's great 3 team potential there, and if need be, we have cash to throw around. Cubs get Kemp, Dodgers get Rollins and Phillies and Dodgers each get whatever's a reasonable combo of players and cash from us. Too late Rollins looks to be done to LA.
