Yeah I pretty much expect the worst in draws. If Tab doesn't take them out of the group phase he should be looking for a new job. Mexico gets a fairly tough group. Here is the entire draw: Group A: New Zealand (host), Ukraine, USA, Myanmar Group B: Argentina, Panama, CAF 3, Austria Group C: Qatar, Colombia, Portugal, CAF 4 Group D: Mexico, CAF 2, Uruguay, Serbia Group E: CAF champion, Brazil, Korea DPR, Hungary Group F: Germany, Fiji, Uzbekistan, Honduras

What do you mean by worse? It's much more rare for basketball players to flip schools after committing (though this has started to change). I'm not saying basketball recruiting is pretty. Worse in terms of the hand-wringing and over-analysis and how quickly landing/not landing key recruits can turn a program. Well that just makes sense when you have 5 positions and 13 scholarships instead of 22 and 85. Each recruit is more important. The thing I hate about football recruiting (which I don't follow) is that guys 'commit' but rarely actually commit. They accept a scholarship as a place holder and keep shopping until they get a better offer and/or signing day arrives. To be fair the coaches are doing this to the players too.

Unless something changes, Justin Upton will be in RF, Wil Myers will be in CF and Shawn Kemp will be in LF. Then they still have Quentin, Venable and Maybin as backups. Is there anything Shawn Kemp can't do? Wrap it up 1 out of 10 people are Eskimo brothers with Kemp.

At times I think Wenger has no clue to what he is doing. I'm sure on Tuesday they will win 5-0 and make me believe again.

If we let Lampkin out of his LOI I would not complain. I knew nothing on Rumph potentially leaving and as of last night I thought he was going to stay. Of course if we can get Brick Haley I don't think any of the recruits will complain.

It's gotten nearly insufferable with the rise of social media. It gets worse every year. Yeah this year was painfully worse than previous years.

Crazy to see them getting highly regarded guys from Texas, Oklahoma and Georgia. Mora putting in early work has paid off. I really wanted Soso but UCLA getting him doesn't upset me. Glad we flipped back Newsome though which wasn't a shock.

He's a badass at QB though but only 5'10"and needs some weight. That said if he was 6'2" he would probably be a top 5 recruit. Calvin Murray is his uncle and also works for Boras. I don't think teams will shy away from drafting him due to football and will take the money if he goes high enough in the 1st round. In the other hand if he goes to A&M I think he's good enough to win the starting job right now and if he does Kyle Allen surely won't stick around.
